Hmmm... as stated earlier I had always thought that the killing bonus was something of a rumor. You are actually the first person Oddipus to lay this to rest.

I had always thought that if the bonus existed it would just be some kind of screen of possibly FMV. I'm assuming then that the "bonus" you get of course comes into play before the game finishes and while there are still Mudokons remaining.

I'm too much of a Mudokon lover to ever try to kill as many as possible... but it's an interesting thing to know.

Funny that OWI actually award you game wise if you kill as much as possible. Are OWI trying to tell us something here?

OWI are crazy in their heads. If not they hadn´t made OW. But what could they mean with this? I have no idea. it´s surly a joke. I have to thing about that

As I'm not a suspicious person I find this somewhat difficult, but Oddipus, could you maybe post a screenshot or possibly a savegame that proves this? Not that I don't believe you, it's just that all we have is your word. I know that most of the people posting here are just curious about the possibility of another ending, but the tone of dialogue in this post has become somewhat acrimonious. Could we put this one to rest, Oddipus? Please either post something or drop it.

I guess I'm the only one who read the manual from front to back , inside and outside, even the small letters. Somewhere they say something like: "A bonus for killing nearly every mudokon? NOpe. NOt us. Like we'd put something like that in a game!"
I think I was the only one crazy enough to try it!

You beat me to it Oddipus... I got the images in my email, but of course hadn't been able to go to post them until today.

Heh, after all this time of thinking that it was just a rumor and a bit of sarcasim from OWI {I noted that part in the manual also).

I guess this leads us to another point... so is that the REAL bonus of the games??? After all you do get something useful... whereas the bonus ending just gives you some info, etc.

Bonus for saving is the ending/bonus you get when you save all 99 mudokons in Abe's Oddysee or all of them in Abe's Exoddus. To do this you have to find every secret and not leave any behind or kill any.

The bonus is an extra video for Abe's Oddysee, and I think it's production sketches for Exoddus.

ok I was dissapointed about the bad bonus In Ae. so this is a better bonus. But this think about a bonus for killing all muds..blbla isn´t in my booklet. That´s typical ! Not in the German one!*g*

I think "whacking" means killing, similar to the term "knocking off", which means killing also.

I think Oddbodd is meaning the Gameshark codes (he mentioned earlier about it).

A gameshark is a CD? device? (not sure what exactly it is) that allows you to use additional cheat codes (often different from the standard cheat codes).

Like in some games they even enable you to play as characters different to the ones you can play as usually.
