Norwich, Norfolk. Ahhhh, so much to talk about.

Norwich is responsible for bringing you Kettle Chips, Colman's mustard, Cayley's chocolate, Bernard Matthews, Jarrold's printworks, Barclay's bank, Norwich Union (obviously, though I believe they changed their international name to Aviva), Elizabeth Fry's prison reformations, Julian of Norwich (the nun and mystic), Sir Henry Rider Haggard (author of King Soloman's Mines, She and Allan Quatermin) and Thomas Paine (American revolutionary, and author of The Rights of Man and The Age of Reason). Tony Martin was temporarily incarcerated in our prison.

Norfolk is a beautiful place. We have Pensthorpe, the Norfolk Broads, Titchwell, part of the Fens, Thetford Forest, the Brecklands (where Dad's Army was filmed) and

You can thank Norfolk for Boudicca, Anne Boleyn, Nelson, Stephen Fry, Cathy Dennis, Beth Orton, The Darkness (nobody cares that they're actually from Suffolk, we just take all the credit), the Paston Family. The Royal Family also have their prestigious Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Oh yeah, I forgot something.

The original Cadbury factory in Bourneville is near Wolverhampton and Birmingham, so next time you eat Cadburys think of me, preferably imagine me naked, that should do the trick.

British Cadburys tastes way better than Australian Cadburies. I don't know why. I also don't know why I gave two different spellings for the brand name in the last sentence.

Ummm... Melbourne... All I can think of is Kylie and Dame Edna. I don't know if that's anything to be proud of.

Wow. Buffalo meat. What is it with that chick and meat? "Is it chicken or is it tuna?"

American Splendor was a great movie.

TBB, you've also got "Holy Toledo!", nahmsayin'? Not many cities have an exclamatory remark with their name in it.

Indeed! Plus you're well known for being confusing. People from the Netherlands are Dutch, right? And you speak a language closely related to German. Crazy. When will Europe learn not to be so confusing?

Heh. Sure they did, Havoc. Sure they did.

The Netherlands also make some awesome chocolate. But who doesn't in Europe? Personally, I think Belgian waffles are going to make a comeback. Where will your Dutch chocolate be then, eh?!

Wolverhampton is the name of the City. I'm guessing some stupid Medieval guys named it. But Shadowman is the history expert.

The place where I live? Budapest, capital city of Hungary. Kinda in the middle of Europe, many foreign people come around. We have a large lake called Balaton... and some smaller ones, of course. There aren't many famous buildings, maybe the Parliament building and the Heroes' Square.

At a guess, I would say the name Wolverhampton came about from Lady Wulfruna, a Saxon lady who founded the monastery (and essentially, the town) back in Saxon times.

True, also from King Wulfrun who ruled this area in that time. Thats why we have the Wulfrun shopping centre.

As far as I know I’m the only welsh person on these forums, so I might as well say everything that’s come out of the whole of Wales.

First of all we have King Arthur and Merlin with the rest of the knights of the round table, loads and loads of castles for such a small country, and one of the best languages in the world. More recently we have given you people such as Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Tom Jones, Vinnie Jones, (hopefully soon me, Nathan Jones.) Ryan Giggs, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Dirty Sanchez, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, Charlotte Church, Katherine Jenkings, Dylan Thomas.

Also in 2012, Newport (my home town), will be the host of the Ryder Cup up in the Celtic Manor Resort, which is the biggest hotel in Wales (maybe even in the uk). I don’t suppose any of you Canadians have heard of a guy called Terry Matthews, he owns the Celtic Manor and plus he owns a huge hotel up there in Canada, but I don’t know where.

*WARNING: USELESS KNOWLEDGE*

In the Simpsons, the baseball stadium has Buffalo wings, but they're not a chicken's wings, they're the wings of a buffalo/chicken hybrid.

Oh, and the GooGoo Dolls are from Buffalo.
