Long Hair -

When I get thin and grow some prolific facial hair I'm going to wear my hair in a ponytail and I'm SO going to go hippy. As it is now, though, people would just mistake me for a girl. *mutters angrily* Vonny grahzny bratchnies . . .

But if my hair were black I would grow some ginormous mutton chops and have my hair really short and keep a constant five-o'-clock shadow like my brother. That and his punkish attire got him stopped by security in an airport once, but I think it'd be worth it just to look that cool. Where the hell did he inherit his looks? It's enough to make me doubt his paternity . . .

My hair is either the longest it's ever been, or it's getting close. I grew it last year, by the time the end of the school year was approaching, it was bouncing in my eyes and soaking up gallons of sweat in athletics. My scalp was also getting irritable, and the second master told me to cut it, so eventually I did. I tried growing it again over summer, but got it cut at the start of September and haven't touched it since. If it pull it taught, my fringe reaches my cheeks. Left to its own devices, it climbs up onto my forehead.

I'm an aspiring hippy. If I had hair like Fish's, I'd be so amazingly happy. His is all animé and bounces about almost as much as he does. *sigh* So adorable.

Right now im growing my hair out, but in a month or so i will get pissed off at it for getting in my eyes and cut it again.

Tbh, i keep cutting it so it's out of my eyes, when it begins to look wierd in the sense of a short fringe and long hair i'll get a little cut off it all then start again

I prefer my hair being "full", but not too long. When I say 'full', I mean being 'wide', I guess. So that I have lots of hair, just not necessarily reaching down my backside.

i always grow my hair long for the winter so my neck won't be cold and then i cut it dureing the summer. i ounce tryed to dye my hair blue but it didn't show up much because my hair is really dark.

My hair is straight but short. Once I let it grow long to see the effects and it grew down on both sides of my cheek and I ended up with a ponytail.

In high school and college I grew out my hair. By the time I cut it it was half way down my back. It was really long since I shaved the sides and back since my hair is crazy thick, plus it was the mid 90's. That was a common "skateboarder" haircut and I had a couple of friends with the same cut. A month before college graduation I cut it all off, I measured what was cut off and it almost 2 feet. I miss the looks I got when I turned around after someone though I was a chick and they got an unshaven man.

I have to agree with the idea that every guy should experiment with their hair while they can. Now I have to be all clean cut for work, but thankfully no balding yet.

I've been asked to cut my hair by the Second Master. This is blatent sexism, as the girls can have long hair, and there's no biological different between hair length in the sexes. What's more, he's forcing me to modify my body! Dudes, surely you can see that's not right!

Anyway, my hairdresser just retired, so he can just suck on it.

I'm glad the rules are fairly lenient at my school. It's surprising, in fact, because I live in an area so full of fascist so-and-so's. I would expect them to be all "Sieg heil!" about dress code and whatnot, but to my great relief, people aren't hassled about long hair. It amazes me that someone would be ordered to have their hair cut.

If they ever hassle me about my hair or the way I dress or something . . . it will be war, I tell you.

A guy at my school who has the best mohawk I've ever seen was asked to stop wearing it up a few months ago, because "it was too tall and distracting" or whatever from what I've heard. However, several black people in the past have had no problems from the administration for having afros that are not only taller than this guy's mohawk, but also much, much wider (of course).

Oh, and the guy's friend was asked to stop spiking his hair because the spikes were "too sharp". Yes, I can so see his friend stabbing someone with spiked hair...

Anyway, plenty of other kids at school spike their hair as well, and I've never heard of someone getting in trouble over it before now.

I'm growing my hair again (when usually it doesn't grow because I damage it by doing something or other, which I should really stop doing *apparantly*) So it's all one length because I've never had it all one legnth before.

And then I am going to have it cut and layered again. And dyed. And then cut short.

And then regret it.

My hair is unusually thin, it seems, and it kind of curls up and screws up at the ends and at either side of my face and it's SO annoying. For a while, after taking a shower each morning, I combed hand soap into it so that it would become stiff and stay in place. It made it look unwashed and crappy, though, so I'm back to having it get in my face and whatnot.

But there's no way I'm cutting it now. It would draw too much attention among my classmates. I've learned that it's not so much the hairstyle you have, it's how often it changes. If you come to school with bright neon orange spikes in your hair one day it will warrant quite a few comments. After a month it'll seem perfectly normal. What it is.

I used to do that.. I could get my hair into these nine inch high uberspikes that made me look like the dude out of Good Charlotte.

Anyways, my hair is how it is in my avatar. Long, straight, and emo.

I didn't so much style it with soap as I did create an impenetrable shell with soap. I would just comb it straight down then put soap all over the top of my head and the bangs. The effect was like wearing a Roman helmet. Heh heh.

Anyway, I don't think anyone who saw it would call it punk or cool. My hair looked exactly the same, except that it didn't curl up and it looked sort of unwashed and ugly.

Maybe I will cut my hair, just to the point where it doesn't curl anymore.

If you REALLY want straight hair, you should get yourself some GHD hair straighteners... they are really very good. I know someone who can turn totally curly into totally straight in 5 minutes.

I would LOVE some GHDs, they are godly. Except, my bank balance isn't quite as godly :P

My hair goes down just below my shoulders, I'd have it longer it's just I'm in the process of growing out my old black hair, so I'm growing it then cutting off a few inches of black hair. I'd never have my hair above shoulder level though :\

Ideally, I'd love my hair to go down to the bottom of my bust, although it would take ages to get there cause there is alot to my bust *cough*
