Well, I made the head up first. I wanted to put it on a body with legs but the snake idea just worked out better.

That's cool. My creature is an arachnid type creature. I have a picture of it now, but I haven't saved it to my computer yet. I need to do that so I can post a pic of it on here.

Physical characteristics
The Noctero are a cliff-residing mammalian species with extrordinary sonar capabilities. Thier physiology is similar to our bats, save for their bipedal stance, large size and ability to think and reason.
Their arms have a thin yet strong membrane that makes for a good pair of wings. They have seven fingers on their hands (each of which have four metacarpals instead of three), two of which (the index and thumb) are smaller, membrane-less, and can be used freely. Their wings end at back of the hips, just above the rise of the pelvis. They have a small tail that ends in a fin for steering. Their ears also aid in steering.
Their ears are very large, so they can detect their own echolocation. Their noses are seperated in an "upside-down comma" shape. Their eyes are yellow-green, with red spots on the pupils, and double irises that adjust sepeartely as to magnify things in their view. Their eyes glow bright green at night to be able to see clearly.

Lifestyles and Rituals

The Noctero are solely carnivorous and extremely savage hunters. They're a neutral yet agressive race, only attacking another party if they must, or are forced to. They rarely attack another of their own kind, but again, they will only if they see fit.
Noctero Ancestors practiced "Fen Gana", a ritual very similar to vampirism, but a lot messier (it includes not only the consumption of blood, but also tearing apart the victim). In the last 100 years or so, this tradition has been changed to drinking a red fruit juice, because a lot of Noctero found it to be barberic and even horrifying.
Diseased meat is not a problem for the Noctero, their immune system is very advanced and can destroy almost any disease/pathogen in food or liquid. This also makes them very difficult to poison or sedate.

What they're up to now-a-days

The Noctero have recently been enslaved by a "family" of Glukkons ("Family," meaning mafia family) on another part of Mudos, as a replacement for the apparently dangerous Mudokons and to discourage the wrath of the notorious Abe. They didn't count on someone like Actra to act as Abe would.

Life Span: 80-120 years.

Home: They live in cliffside towns, their homes actually dug into the rock. These towns can go in as far as 80 feet.

Type: Native.

This is the species that Actra belongs to, by the way.

"Lampriles" are a species I came up with waaaaaaay back ages ago, when I was still using Angelpoo as my site host (I've changed twice since. Erf).

Basically, they're sapient (if rather stupid), froggish creatures. Used to live in a sort of symbiosis with the sligs, back in their ancestral homes, but after the Purges and the few remaining Slig tribes grew withdrawn and xenophobic, the Lampriles struck out on their own, and made a happy enough living in tribes in the high branches of forest trees, using the pools in the upper canopy to rear their young. They're hermaphroditic, although tend to behave in a "feminine" or "masculine" manner, and like snails producing children requires two individuals.

I wrote more but I want to polish it up. So yay.

The Gollum-esque one clambering up onto that platformy-thing seems to be in some sort of dispute with the chief, on the right, and the "female's" nose is getting in the way of "his" fingers. Grr.

Info: At the Crystal Groves there is only one life. The Speda have 3 classes or clans.
The Genesis is the "normal" species, fast and deadly. The Fighter is more bigger and stronger than the genesis clan members. The Spooce Spedas are weak, but these can use Spooce. The three clans guard three different zones of the Crystal Groves. Mudokons said these are the guardian of the spooce. But really, these creatures are only puppets... the only life in this region is the Speda Queen, or The Mastermind. This very intelligent creature creates these puppets to guard the spooce crystals, and the Source Crystal.

Info: amphibious creatures that originated in the sea west of Mudos and split into two sects: Industrial and Native
Buisness was slow since they really couldn't go above water that long so they made genetically engineered clones that could live above and below water. Well, It was a success. buissness boomed and with the Industrial's weopons, they also got less attacks from sea rexes and other dangerous water life. But some industrial Ichava were captured by the Glukkons and were used as agents to do their dirty work. Most of the industrial Ichava now are clones made by the Vykkers but the Industrials Ichava made by the native Ichava are more natural looking so you can tell the difference if its a good or bad Industrial Ichava.

"SoulStabber (Solus Stabberi)"
Info: This creature lives in the water areas of oddworld, they can live on land too but not for very long. The Soulstabber has a very thin body because the only thing it feeds on is thoughts that is why it has a big head. To consume the thoughts the soulstabber must attach the three finger like mouth things, to the victims head. when it eats the thoughts it also takes in any of the victims memory, so these are great for intergations.
Life span: 110 years

Info: This creature lives in the trees, it has amphibious capabilities thats why it has frog like feet. The Glunk is a nocternal creature, that is why it has big eyes the outer triangle parts of its pupil help the Glunk focus on what it is looking at the Glunk is a Herbevore and is also very mischevious

I know this is rewinding a little bit but -Wow... that's a very interesting idea... I'm big on 3d/animation too. I'd give you a shot of some of my stuff but I don't have anywhere to host them at the moment. (I'm kind of a lurker on this board, but this post woke me up). It would be great if we could all muck in and make a tribute oddworld movie. (I'm pretty good at character design/modelling) . . . whaddya's all think!?

I was bored, so I decided to make a creature.

Name: Pest Stalker

Info: Has been sighted around industrial areas, this thing clings to the ceiling with its two sharp claws and waits until it sees it's prey (Usually small creatures such as bolamites or fuzzles). When it sees it's victim, it silently positions itself above the pest and stikes the creature violently with it's long tongue. The Stalker then wraps it's tongue around the stunned victim and brings it to it's mouth, where it picks apart the pests body into smaller pieces. Slig guards love watching this creature eat, and they sometimes will feed it a fuzzle or two, then laugh cruelly while it stumbles into the stalker's path.

Notes:I will try to think of something origional later, and hopefully draw a real picture of it.

I was playing around on photoshop a few days ago and I decided to colour coolmanbizkit's 'Glunk'. Here's my stab at it.
