It was just a suggestion. It seems foolish and even childish but it honestly works (well, sometimes). But, what do you propose if they do not respond? Are we just going to give up and drop it?

Yes. Really, it's not that big a deal. We're all reacting to it strongly because we're so firmly pro-OWI. If they don't care about what we have to say, then there's no point in getting even more worked up about it.
Agreed. No multiple sending. Just the one professional e-mail Max is going to write up. Sounds good to me. Even if IGN doesn't respond...we'll still know we did a good thing: defending OWI.
