I got those toys whern i was a kid Joe... But I sometimes still use them for having a good time.
You had a Buddha with a man biting off a woman's nipples as he fingers her vagina, as a kid? Am I the only one who missed out on this craze?

i doubt you lot will think this stuff is 'cool', but its the stuff i would be most upset about if it were stolen.

got on my 18th from my parents. just an ornament, really. and i always forget to wind it up, but there's no point, really. also, they seem to think its plated gold, but it doesn't have a hallmark. i don't have the heart to tell them this, so its gold in my book. anyway, that's not the point. i love it.

from my grandfather. they're old, and very heavy, and good advice, too. they tell you how to use led weights in it as well, which are now banned.

not much to look at, but spot on sights, powerful and loud as fuck. i used it twice last year to scare off youths in the carpark outside at 1 in the morning. just fire it (fucking unloaded, of course), and they scatter. that's how loud it is.

now this is the first one i ever got. second hand, and a good job it is otherwise it would have fetched past the 500 mark. i managed to blab the gun sleeve in for free. ironically, the scope is fucked seeing as my workmate dropped it, so it doesn't shoot straight. easily fixed, though.

grandfather gave me this last year. bit worrying as its one of his most prized possessions and it was out of the blue. not used it yet, but it was top notch in its day, and these things don't go out of date.

Amiga 1200. got it from an uncle when i was about 5. so when everyone else was playing on the Playstation, i had this baby. i loved it, and still do. it is reserved for my good friend Sticks, though. he is a computer genius. the thing still works.

THE DRAWER THAT AIN MADE ME BREAK THANKS AIN!

and my signet ring. no point having a picture of it as it'll be blurry. all this in mind, we/i am fucking poor.

so yes. i have old man toys.

I fucking love all that stuff. Especially the watch. That's a very attractive watch.

I enjoy looking after my garden. My chain saw is my favorite tool, as it is a lot of help. We often grow trees, but because they are quite close to the house, we have to cut them down because there is risk of the roots growing under the house.

Not an image of my own, but this is the exact sort of chain saw that I use. Someone saw me get angry once when I experienced some minor kick back. Scared them shitless, because they hadn't a clue what I was doing.

I'd think that watch was gold too, and I can see why you love it.

I get the Amiga and the fishing things too, but I don't really get the thing your grandfather gave you, as I can't really tell what it is. Enlightenment would be appreciated.

its a metal detector.

and thing about the watch, i love it. its my most prized possession. its just they think its gold and it actually isn't, but that's what makes me love it more.

and Oddjob, kick back is fucking dangerous and i can understand why you got upset. when i was working for that tree surgeon that same thing happened to my boss, and he was wearing a safety helmet with a mesh visor. the thing cut straight through the mesh and sliced the bridge of his nose. shook him up, as it could have been his neck. i thought it was ambulance time.

Chain saws are certainly one of those things that I actually do have patience to use properly without cutting corners when it comes to safety. A lot of people I know who use chain saws have that "Oh, I'll be right, I'll just be careful! Bound to experience a little kick back every time I use it!" attitude, which I don't like (especially since the only safety equipment they use are gloves, which is pretty stupid). The only problem is, even with all the safety equipment, there's no guarantee that everything's fine. My chain saw has undergone a lot of modification to ensure safety - it originally had no chain brake, so the saw's been quite severely altered to have one fitted. Cost me quite a few bob, but as I always say, better safe than sorry.

no chain brake? that really is bad. i would have gotten one fitted too, obviously. they are one of the few tools i am reluctant to use.

And these are my High Grade Universal Century RX-78-2 Gundam and MS-06S Char's Zaku II. They're original pair from the 1979 TV show.
I think I'm getting the Zaku II (Or something close) froma guy in exchange for a Transformer. It's called a Gelgoog. Had one as a kid, lost it, and now I have a new one.

Well yeah, but the Gelgoog was a close second for me.

Discounting the actual RX-78-2, I have a soft spot for that one.

Definitely Char's Gelgoog, then. It's not the one I had as a kid, though.

I did have this one, though:http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN71693
I wish they still sold these around here. I could not give less of a shit about the related media but the mecha themselves I've always thought were quite cool.

Do the prices here include costs of shipping? I would buy the shit out of this:

On the other hand, high school boys are
useless outside battle and sports anime.
But they're recklessly trying to make a slice-of-life anime about us.
Ah, we are high school boys,
the miserable high school boys.

MA, you win in the cool shizzle category! That watch looks beautiful, those books sound pretty cool and amiga is of course always epic. We have an old one hidden in the house somewhere, too... My Dad loved it. We had some great old games for it and stephen Hawking voice technology, but it all got relegated to the loft (attic) when we got our first PC.
Best I can do now is a Sega Megadrive and Sega CD.

I do have... (sorry about my awful phone camera)

Five model cybermen from Doctor Who, from left to right, cloth-faced cyberman from 'The Tenth Planet' (1966, I think), their first appearance where they made the Doctor regenerate for the first time, cyberman from 'The Tombs of the Cybermen' (1967) holding two little cybermats which are small machines the cybermen used to use as scouts and saboteurs, Cyber controller from 'Tombs' which was the first cyber leader, cyberman from 'The Invasion' (1969) which were made on the cheap so they could make enough to make an invasion of Earth look convincing, hence boot laces and zip, and Cyber controller from the new series. Got these this Christmas.

Classic daleks. I have these guys in their box still, hence the packaging material. Left to right is the first dalek from their first appearance, 'The Daleks' (1963), then some dalek supreme or something from some Third Doctor story, possibly 'Planet of the Daleks' and finally the first ever dalek (in series chronology) from 'Genesis of the Daleks' (1975, methinks). They live in their box most of the time under my bed and guard my Oddworld Art Book.

A clay model of Dennis the Molester Turtle from 'Wars of the Art' (a thread in NOA&L - check my sig) that I made when helping out with the youth club I used to be a member of. This guy lives on my desk (though for purposes of light, this photo is taken on the living room table )

Hey, ImageShack has become loads easier to use!
