Come on Dix, tell me how leaving the EU is going to help the peace process over there. Thirty years of work will go down the drain. :/

Thirty years of work won't heal eight-hundred years of cultural genocide, but I'm as of yet, undecided on the matter. Also with Turkey joining the EU (supposedly soon), we'll be swamped with hundreds of them since they seem to like it here for some reason. Thankfully, we have no ethical tension here like in France or England, the minorities stay out of sight whilst the white people drunkenly call each other taigs and huns.
It's a comfy life.

Should Northern Ireland leave the UK?
|
Nah, too many consequences. The Republic of Ireland doesn't want the North back because their economy is crap enough as it is, we'd only be adding extra strain. Plus, everyone in the north would have to switch from sterling to the euro, messing up everyone's banks.
It's also too small and thinly peopled to survive as its own sovereign state.
Not to mention the loyalist/unionist majority (who are more British than the English, might I add) chimping out and giving open support to paramilitary groups like the UDA or UVF, thus ushering in another few decades of bloodshed.
I think for the best interest of all, we should stay. Northern Ireland is the 'special kid' of Europe, like Bosnia.
