Yes, a thread about locomotives, rail transport, and everything related.

I have a question: When it comes to railway signalling, I've sometimes seen a blue light which is on the ground in between tracks. What does that indicate exactly? I can't find a pic of it, but I'm fairly sure I've seen it before, in two different countries.

Also, who else thinks that the old diesel locomotives are some of the meanest-looking machines ever built?
Seeing as I'm the one regular member who has any possible chance of knowing what you're talking about... what are you talking about? Can you give a better description of this blue light and where to see it?

Sounds like the signals that indicate which way the track is set when the tracks split up. I dunno the name, though.

I lyke trainz

A couple weeks ago I had a stroke of inspirational genius in the form of euphemism, specifically the act of getting "railroaded" to mean getting train-raped. Then I thought el oh el, that means getting "underground railroaded" would mean getting train-raped by black fellows. I looked those up on Urban Dictionary for the hell of it, and came upon this gem:

:
8. underground railroad

the act of getting a girl drunk and bringing her back to your hotel room, where 4-6 of your friends are waiting in the bathroom. Proceed to slam her from behind, (its key to make sure she cant see your face) and when you are about finished, you call in the next guy. This secret train continues until all 4-6 are finished. When the caboose is done, u go back to the girl, fake an orgasm, and your done with her. Make sure she leaves the hotel room quick, before she wants to use the bathroom.

After the game me and half the team are planning on getting an underground railroad going on some skank from the club, you want in?
It took a few reads to figure out quite how to visualize that scenario going down, and then I kind of wished I hadn't.

In women? I guess it makes the man feel satisfied with his pleasuring abilities so he will get off her and let her get some rest.

EDIT: Oh I see, in that scenario.

It makes her think that all those people were one guy?

No, you're wrong.

Also take note of the dynamometer car that recorded the Mallard's speed of 125.88mph.

Agreed. Unfortunately, Thomas toys are freaking expensive, so I'm already saving up to give my niece the sort of collection I wish I'd had when I was a kid.
