It's just standard HTML, so it must be a chrome bug. I do love it though, and even though an upgrade would be nice, i'd rather you keep it the same then lose it completely. plus it works on mine and i'm using firefox.

It's not a bug. <marquee> is not part of the HTML specification and never has been. Browsers have no obligation to support it.
