Harhar, noes, wee DeiDei didn't influence me with his chest-tongue (though that IS creepy...) It was actually this picture of some humaniod thing with no head, and its face on its chest, and I was like...'OOO, WTF is dat?'
Thank chooo....
Another class of the creatures know as Harvesters.
The Imp is more brightly coloured, with less drab tones. Its personality seems to match this, as it is energetic, and quite responsive if met in the Battle Field. This creature is cherry with its work, seen to 'skip' merrily around, and has sometimes been heard to sing as it works.
This Harvester, is much smaller then its fellows, about the size of a eight-year-old child. It is barely bigger then the Rootler, another type of Harvester.
Like all Harvesters, this creature also has a bird always with it. The bird is much more colourful and bright compared with other Harvester birds. It is also kept on a longer 'leash' and has no noticeable perch, as it is always seen flying.
Instead of ears, this particular Harvester has another set of mouths, complete with nostrils, and gaping mouths. These extra heads also help to sniff out way-ward spirits.
The Imp has long, viciously barbed tongues. This tongues have bladed under-sides, and the Imp can use this to defend itself if necessary.
This Harvester's job is to capture all of the spirits, wraiths and souls that have been lost. The creature does this via the strange net it carries. The net appears to be made out of a eerie green light-weight substance.
Once the creature captures enough souls, it then typically either gives the souls (which it holds in a 'cage' made by the tongues of the extra mouths) to the creature known as the 'Collect', or seals then in a hole, known as a 'warper' for the 'Collect' to gather later.
Its cloven hoofs give the small creature great speed, so it can capture even the most swift of fun-away spirits. They (the hoofs) provide the Imp with good balance on the site of battle, even if it has to run over corpses.
Like every other Harvester, this one has a legalized documentation, allowing the creature to capture any spiritual magical forces e.i souls, wraiths, spirits, consciousness etc...without persecution. It is complete with a legal seal.
The Imp also has a spray-can, which it has been seen to 'clean' the captured energies in its net, supposedly to clean them of mortal exposure.
Some have suggested that this Harvester is seen more of a 'pet' with other Harvesters, as other types have been seen to 'pat' the Imp, when they criss-cross each others path.
The Harvester Imp also has an arm band, that is inscribed with strange red-dye symbols.
LoL, a wee cute one!
