yeah I remember I was so amazed when I saw this the first time and I couldn't understand, the film was made in 1985. of course I haven't seen Tron back then. but still, this scene looks gorgeous today.
also did anyone else detect the light saber sound?
the scene when ZigZag is entering the tent. the music, the voice of Mighty OneEye, the sexy greenish big breasted chubby one-eyed dancers and of course the throne makes this one of the best animated scenes ever

Oh god, I am so pissed they never truly finished that amazing film.
I have such a love/hate relationship with that movie, by which I mean I absolutely love the film, but hate that it was never completed and that it's only publication were multiple, poorly-stitched together, straight-to-video releases. The one exception was the inclusion of Jonathan Winters as the inner-monologue of the Thief in the Miramax release, which I thought was hilarious and not at all inappropriate for the character.
The "Re-Cobbled" edition is the closest we're ever going to get to seeing it in it's entirety.
Also, I just learned Tack was originally played by a young Sean Connery. Mindfuck.

I hear you. it's also sad how Disney clearly ripped off the Character Design. although I really love Aladdin.
Not really a favourite of mine, but it definitely is really emotional. I thought I Am Legend was pretty good overall. It's always sad to see an animal die in a movie.
Have you watched Marley and Me? That's sadder still.
These are all my favorite scenes. They never fail to make me chuckle.

One of the best action movies I've seen and this scene was really intense when I first saw it. I recommend watching both, this one and the sequel. (Banlieue 13 & Banlieue 13: Ultimatum)
