Gararj sounds stupidly posh to me. And I went a posh school. With posh pupils. Who thought "gararj" sounded stupidly posh.

The first few times I ever heard Homage it was pronounced "Omarj". No H, that would sound awful. Hommidge sounds more than slightly stupid to me. Like the worst kind of food imaginable.

lived in Lichfield all my life, i think the pronunciation of Rugely as 'Rudgley' is just the accent. not many people have lived here long enough to pick up little things like that so you can always tell if they have moved here from somewhere else.

Don't mention that. Things like that really make me angry. I tend to get sent into fits of rage and frustration, and I'll be wound up for about half an hour.

But that is quite worrying. It's very strange when things like that happen near where you live, isn't it?
