One could possibly assume that they realised that answering too many questions was a bad idea because it a) reduced the level of mystery surrounding the canon and b) welcomed even more questions flooding Matt Lee's inbox.

hey, haven't been here for a loooong time, so please forgive me for my niavity, so who do we email? I have a whole bunch of questions, and realise that I don't answer the address.
I miss alf in a strange way, he answers were annoying but funny at the same time.
owell, at least at seems we are, or were getting answers for a while anyways.
