I honestly don't know if I agree with this now, haha. My initial proposal was rocked a little bit when a woman who was ranting at me said that her brother's severe disability inspired her and her father to do more for charity. And I'd totally agree with that. When people have a kid like the one's described, they suddenly do enormous good.
However, eventually the disabled (of all shapes and sizes) will be non-existent. With science advancing in such a way that we can now pinpoint genetic disorders and diseases, it won't be long before we're reading about the disabled in history books or watching documentaries about how they used to live in the wild.

A 'rise'? Are you kidding me? Do you honestly think I sit down and think 'wow, I really wanna SHOCK people into a debate'? If I want to do that I'll use Twitter, thanks. No, no. Whenever I come back to the forums it's to propose an idea or a theory that I'm curious about just to get the general feel of the topic and people's perceptions on it. Like I've said before - the forums have quite a few intellects, so I like to mull shit over with them. It's interesting.

I am sick to death of people playing 'Top Trumps: Tragedy' edition. If it hits so close to home then your opinion is invalid, you tool. Jeez. People don't ask the parents of murdered kids their opinion on child killers because they're super aware that the answer will be chained to emotion. So they politely ignore them. Obviously. I'm not talking about getting a giant net and going Downs Hunting, hahaha. And the guardians won't permit it. Like I said - the emotional attachment is too great. But that is the issue, I think. We can't live in a world dictated by emotion. We shouldn't. If we did there'd be public executions, mass killings and worse. It's best to just...take a step back.

I just wanted to see what others thought of the idea from a logical perspective. Like, what are the logic-driven reasons to be against it. And there are none, it seems. Everything hinges on people's emotion, which personally I don't put much stock in to.
And you can argue the 'slippery slope a cometh' all you want, but if we bought into that bullshit we'd've stopped lady folk from voting.

What the Hell does that matter? I answered your question earlier. I hate that reasoning - 'w-well maybe i-if you just looked after one you...um, maybe you wouldn't want to kill them so much'.
I've interacted with a few guys who've been in prison...they were swell. I totes think it's super mean to put anybody in jail. We totes shouldn't do that. Jail should be outlawed.
