Got your point Xavier, but considering how much money we have spent for oddworld merchandise (just bought the whallet killing folio edition), maybe we deserve a little bonus especially if you keep in account we didn't intend to buy the game to being with and, that it's an outdated one.

That's not the point, i still have to receive the folio edition but that's an amazing thing to have, what i whant to say is that we all hightly support oddworld even purchaising multiple copies of the same game for different supports(PC-PS) so playing something not anymore on the market like OA1 whon't damage oddworld finances.

Someone know the meaning of: "Oddworld games have sold over 4.2 million units and climbing."
Is the game selling well?

Yeh, Tomb Raider 1 for PS1 sold 7 million units and MW2 sold 4.8 million units so that's a decent number

Although you must take in to account that that number is for all four games, spread across a decade. It's good but not as good as other games.

Also, I suspect most of those 4.2 mill sales are AO and AE.

If by "other games" you mean something popular like tomb rider i guess i'm happy about it.
And about AO and AE they were very well publicized and OI still diden't start switching game consoles at that time.
My guess is that (other than us ultra fans) for the most part AO and AE players are completly different than SW ant MO ones since nearly no one can afford to buy a new game platform to play a single game.
That being said i'm expecting a huge boom in sales for the oddboxx if it will be well publicized
Hope they will not make the same mistake selling the oddboxx only on stream (i don't have a credit card like most others whanna be oddworld players).

It's all gonna be digitally distributed I believe Asmoden but I agree, dig distribution is hard for me too

You’d better get used to it, digital distribution is growing rapidly and is the future of acquiring software and digital media. You don’t even need a credit card, a debit/bank card will do.

The titles will be able to buy via all major online outlets, either individually or as a four pack!
So OddBoxx is not Steam-Only.

Hey guys can't remember last time I posted in this thread! Did you miss me? Obviously no, my question were annoying... so here's one! Do you remember when Glukkon were recruiting Mudokons in the desert to work in SoulStorm Brewery? Where did they find them? How did they bring them in that place?

Thanks

That clip was set quite some time in the past. Presumably, they would have set up their 'bar' near a Mudokon camp. And they would have some sort of transportation too, whether it's trains or trucks or simply forcing the muds to march to the factories.

They weren't just recruiting for the Brewery, btw. They were recruiting for all industry.

My natural question now is why didn't OWI ever think about showing some Mudokon's camps in AE?

AE was meant to be AO expansion.
My guess is they tried to make the game really similar to AO keeping new major developements for the next main game MO.

Also because there really weren't all that many native Mudokons and the free ones had only excaped a day or two previous.

I wonder why Monsaic Lines are still standing. It's so close to free-fire zone, and there are native muds there. Why didn't the Glukkons destroy it?
