6 Mom kills to 17 deaths in Isaac: Rebirth. That's a ratio I'm pretty happy with.

It's funny, because this is more kills than I ever got in the base game despite the remake being notably harder.

Im at like 30 something deaths. Mom kills means Moms heart btw, if u just kill mom it doesnt shw up in the stats. Ive got 5 moms heart kills, and ive lost to satan 4 times. Got him to 10% last time.

But I havnt played in 2 days. because Ive been playing tonnes of Worms battlegrounds, Rogue legacy (I know, right. who needs a social life when u have BoI and Rogue legacy) and a friend just bought me terraria for PS4, so now Ive got 3 200+ hour games to play...

not that I had a social life to begin with....

Also, Bout to start getting back into destiny and warframe. As well as Injustice... and then Dynasty warriors after that. Why does the day have to be so short!?

In 7 hours I've done 23 runs. In >30 hours you've done closer to 35 runs.

Um? No need to lie about your mom kill:death ratio buddy.

Oh, no. I agree, its pretty bad. I also reset alot, so I dont know if that counts as a death if u quit and restart. If I dont get a good item by caves I, or if I get rekt by a boss or something that makes the rest of the game difficult, Ill reset and start again.

I also play alot slower. I explore every inch of every floor. Its only when i play azazel that i even get to do the boss rush, cuz he sweeps through the first 4 floors.

I played the Amnesia Fortnight prototypes OANST gave me. They were pretty patchy, but I liked Little Pink Best Buds, and Mnemonic and Dear Leader were great.

Mnemonic was a first-person narrative adventure in the vein of Myst, with a very noir, Lovecraftian vibe.

You play some kind of PI trying to remember the events of a traumatic day. You do this by wandering between the few scenes he can recall, looking at stuff and trying to see if it reminds you of anything else. If it does, you drag it over to the other thing, and the connection jogs your memory and reveals more of the scene (hence the title).

Example: A body lies in a dark alley. In another scene, a postcard of a daylit city is on a car dashboard. This reminds you of the city in the alley scene, so you pick up the postcard, carry it across to the alley, and hold it up. The PI remembers that he knew this alley, because it was in the town where he bought the postcard, and the black void around the spotlit scene fills in with now-familiar surroundings.

Dear Leader was a Soviet bureaucracy simulator in the vein of Papers, Please, but at the opposite end of the power spectrum.

You play a beloved revolutionary who's just achieved absolute power, and promptly set about juggling the needs of your populace with the puppetry of an Orwellian police state, all without leaving your desk.

Legislate farming centralisation, authorise executions, try not to get assassinated.

I've been playing a lot of Rebirth too. Recently got Guppy's 9 lives in the curse room so lost 5 of those trying to get out. Found some HP up but had something else that kept teleporting me out when I got hurt too much. So if a boss hurt me I had to be teleported out and redo the boss again. But I somehow made it to Satan! Died though...

Good game.

I hate dead cat. Some people swear its good, but I cant see it. Id much prefer the ankh over dead cat. if it respawned u with 1 more heart itd be great. Or if it respawned u in the room. the fact that u gotta do stuff like moms heart or double fallen with 1 heart 9 times over is what I think makes it terrible.

I had a really difficult run recently. First run ive died to mom in a long time. i got the adversary for the first time on Necropolis I, he rekt my shit.

was wondering when that'd happen.

I've been playing a game called trove. It's simple to a fault, but not enough to not be fun. The big thing about it is making stuff and that's really the fun part.

I ordered a copy of Platinum to play while I waited for OR/AS to be released, but by the time it arrived they were already out so I didn’t bother.

Been playing Alpha Sapphire a ton lately, picked it up on Saturday. Liking it a lot so far, only disappointing factor is how much damn easier this version is. Oh well. Still fun, and the game is superior to the original in every other way. Except maybe the music.

Multiplayer should be fun though, in due time. Haven't done that at all since the good ol' link cable days.

My brother got me Alien Isolation for an early Christmas present, and I finally got around to playing it tonight. I wanted to wait to do a stream of it, so I wouldn't get too absorbed into the game, but I was so weary because I get embarrassed by my voice easily. I was tired and wanted to finally play it. At first, I was really really impressed. Great voice acting, fantastic visuals (minus the horrid lip-sync). Then I was really really disappointed. It was a bunch of following people in set paths and wacking them with a stick to get by. It wasn't really scary, it was closer to a first person metal gear solid rip off. It started to get better with the synthetics, though still not too fun because they're still on a very obvious and clear pattern, and they didn't pull off crazy unfair moves like the humans from earlier. After I finally got passed all that and got into the bits with the alien though, the game got really really good again. I was practically crying at every step it took, and somehow still pulling off sneaking around it. Sometimes literally standing next to a door it walks through. I stopped the stream a ways into the medbay, got way more viewers than I expected too, because I was too tired and kept dying easily and not reacting at all to the scary bits. Pretty excited for what might be next.

I'd say what disappoints me is that they took the character customization out again. There really was no need.

I got embarrassingly into breeding Pokemon for maximum stats in Y, but I never got the chance to let loose my superbeasts in multiplayer. I'll need to change that.

Finally started Psyconauts yesterday. Some of the writing at the start felt a bit awkward, but I'm just on my way to learning levitation and the game had really found the strong footing I expected. I love just walking around, talking to the other kids at camp and scoping out the world. One of the first people I talked to was the Russian kid who babbles about bears, and I've been hooked on the silly conversations ever since.

The platforming is definitely a bit dated, and that double jump is infuriating, but everything is really consistent. I like that double jumping is more of a decision than a requirement most of the time though, and some jumps are much easier with just the first hop.

I groaned when I realised it was going to be a 3D platformer collect-a-thon, but now that I'm getting into it a bit more I can see this is exactly what's been missing from my life. I fucking love games like this. I can tell this is going to be a 100% game already.

Been wrecking scrubs in Injustice on PS4. Good to see that game with more than 5 people online.

Plants vs zombies: garden warfare was given out for free during the Playstation experience on ps4, so ive been playing that. Heaps of fun.

I've been playing Far Cry 3 and still playing Pokemon Omega Ruby.

Far Cry 3 is probably one the best looking games I've ever played. And without a doubt the best looking open world game (Far Cry 4 is probably better but I haven't played yet) It's just so impressive to have that much detail on a huge scale. It blew me away honestly.

But when it comes down to the actual gameplay. I'm a little more mixed feelings towards it. It is fun don't get me wrong. The driving feels good, the guns (some hit and miss) work well enough. I especially love the hunting element as it adds that fear factor when your walking around the island.

One thing I will say though, I can see the game getting boring after a while. You fight the same pirates over and over. you eventually know where all the hunting ground are. I also had huge problems actually playing the game. The fov, the motion blur, mouse acceleration everything. I had to tweak the game so much in order for me to enjoy it properly. It's clearly a console game, and it shows so much. It's still a awesome game and well worth the less than £4 price tag.

I beat the elite Four and the Delta episode on Pokemon Omega Ruby; and I loved every second of it. OR/AS are the best Pokemon games since... well X & Y. But I've had a lot more fun with OR simply because you revisit Hoenn. And out of all the remakes, I think OR/AS does the best job at recreated the original. Everything is just perfect and I highly recommend it.

I beat The Phantom! in Gloria's mind, and tedious as that world was it also had so much great stuff in it. The child actors were amazing, and without them the set switching would have been hell.

"My Family Has Left Me Alone In a Bad Bad Place..."

I think Lungfishopolis is still my favorite world though. The subtle physics changes felt great, and "Mighty Ram ground version!" is the best boss technique ever. Freedom!

I wish someone would have told me to play this game sooner.

Far Cry 3 is probably one the best looking games I've ever played. And without a doubt the best looking open world game (Far Cry 4 is probably better but I haven't played yet) It's just so impressive to have that much detail on a huge scale. It blew me away honestly.
I know some people really like the Far Cry games but the basic releases seem really bland and not all that unique. I did however enjoyed Blood Dragon and of course went into that and enjoyed it a great deal.
