“I always believe the movies I've made are smarter than the way they are perceived by sort of mass culture and by the critics,” Snyder said, a statement he immediately followed by saying, “Also, ‘It looks like a video game.’
So, here's some more of that Die Antwoord stuff. I think it's ok, but that Evil Boy music video still haunts me. Also, that rapping guy's accent is pretty slick.
Also, happy birthday John Lennon, you amazing man. Rest in peace.

I had this on my 'Pod the other day and I actually listened to it, rather than just hearing it, you know? It sounds like music being deconstructed, piece by piece. You start with an almost Beatlesesque intro, then you go into Franz's normal twangy-bass-and-vocals thing, then it descends into the cries of the chorus, then into semiconcsious murmuring, then we're just left with the instruments playing on their own, themselves reducing to mechanical/instrumental noises, then clanking stempunk-ish machinery, until finally we just have rhythmic, beating core, which itself dies away.
I've probably bigged that song up a bit too much, but if anyone can be bothered to try it, I recommend doing it with a reclined posture, closed eyes and an empty mind. Turning lights off may help.
"I'm staunchly atheist, I simply don’t believe in God. But I'm still Catholic, of course. Catholicism has a much broader reach than just the religion. I'm technically Catholic, it's the box you have to tick on the census form: 'Don't believe in God, but I do still hate Rangers..'"
