New picture! Scorpiontigers fightin'! (I called Adahy's species like that.)
Will hopefully be colored soon.
This is a scene in The Priestess, a story of mine.
And I finally got a name for Adahy's species. Scorpiontiger! (Wow, ain't I just creative?! Well, it's better than any complicated name.)
This scene happened when Kana still was a kid living together with his dad (the left creature here) and where suddenly (really, totally unexpected) was another scorpiontiger being close to Adahy's cave.
You know, the scorpiontiger's way is: if you get in another one's territory, it means that you want to own it. Which means, you got to fight with the owner. And now comes the part why scorpiontigers are the most feared creatures: they kill each other very cruel in such battles. They wouldn't even give the chance for their rivals to run away from it...
And when they win, they don't eat the losers too. Other animals would eat the corpses that are left. Scorpiontigers never do. It's just their way.
The funny thing is that they never show any kind of weakness in their expressions, even if they'd know that they're not strong enough to win the fight. Scorpiontigers are a very proud species.
However, Kana (who was a half-scorpiontiger) watched this fight very confused.
Adahy was, as always, a highly aggressive enemy. After he won, he returned to his cave as if nothing happened. His son looked long at the lacerated scorpiontiger on the ground and, after a long while, he went to his father and asked him why he didn't kill him quickly as he usually does with all his preys. Adahy answered him that this is the way of his species to do so if there's a rival to be killed.
All rivals must pay for their fault to revenge someone of their own kind. (Especially if it's someone stronger.)
I kinda feel sorry for the loser of this fight. He was so young...
...
oh, and the other picture is just doodles I did to let out stress. x]
