Johnny English Reborn.

There seem to be a lot of negative reviews of it but I really enjoyed it, but it is not as good as the first one.

Apart from the heavy Toshiba advertisement :/

I haven't seen it but god It looks awful. Movie Trailers are meant to make the film look really good but it didn't work for Johnny English in my opinion.

I think anything with 'Mr Bean' in it makes it funny purely because of his facial expressions.

I remember that Gorgeous Land Rover Series IIa on the part where Alex's friends (or were) stick his head in the pig trough.

I find it interesting how it has a Q plate but damn it looks gorgeous.

I enjoyed the 2 Mr Bean films.

Ridg3 and I were talking about this earlier actually.

The picture was the single most greatest thing about this film.

It made the film. Without that picture it would have been a sub-par film.

I watched King of the Hill yesterday. It's a programme I always ignored, partly due to lack of exposure, and partly because I saw an advert for it years ago and thought it looked a piece of shit, but I thought it was funny. It was much less over-the-top than cartoons like The Simpsons, which I thought was a real strength.

King of the Hill's strength lies in just how cleverly subdued it's humor is. Unlike most animated sitcoms, the characters feel like they could actually exist, which is what makes it all the more hilarious when they do something outrageous.

Mike Judge is a genious. Case in point, Office Space. And, for that matter, Idiocracy...which scares me cuz North America is well on its way to that future.

That's exactly the thing. I got tired of the whole slapstick approach to cartoons, and I thought that the humour in what I watched yesterday was a lot more subtle and actually much funnier than things I've seen in cartoons in the past.
I also think that the visuals are very good. I saw Beavis and Butthead a while ago, and didn't like it that much, but I thought that its aesthetic was much more interesting to watch than what I've seen previous to watching it (with the exception of Ren and Stimpy).

Thats why I like Adam Reed's work, though his are less believable. It's more the subtle dialogue and clever plots that characterise Archer and Frisky Dingo. Sealab was just nuts. lol

I love the jiggly, amateurish-looking animation in B&B. In general, I love cartoons that go the extra mile to look imperfect. I love the sketchy-lined look of the classic Disney films, or the jiggly look of Dr. Katz and Ed, Edd n' Eddy.

But yeah, I love of King of the Hill's humor. I also liked The Goode Family, which was basically King of the Hill's antithesis. It's less subdued though, and didn't have nearly as much character appeal as KoTH.

Really?
I thought it had a pretty damn good run. It also had like three TV specials and one feature-length movie. Isn't that enough?

I love that movie. I think I linked it in a bunch of Youtube videos here like 2 years ago. It's so entertaining to see things moving like they do in E,E&E.

I just watched The Dark Knight...again. I believe I've seen it 10 times or so, now. I'm not a huge fan of it, it's just good background noise.

I only really pay attention when Ledger's on screen anymore. Anyone seen Terry Gilliam's Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus? I love Gilliam's style of fantasy.

I love Gilliam anything. That man is one sad case though. Film making for him has been an uphill battle his whole life. Now he's pushing 70 and has a broken back, and he's still out there making movies for the cultureless masses. A true hero of cinema.
