There was a discussion in the Idle Thumbs forum about the MI games which quickly devolved in to a rant about EFMI and how much everyone hated it. I remember disliking it quite a bit too, so I decided to play it again to see if it was really quite as bad as I remember it.
Thus far it's been quite good. Controls are shite but the characters and puzzles have been amusing and interesting enough. Meeting yourself from the future in the Mists o' Time Swamp was brilliant. Unfortunately, I know that the Monkey Kombat is still ahead of me...

Spending as long as I do here, it's easy to forget that Oddworld has actual fans.
“I always believe the movies I've made are smarter than the way they are perceived by sort of mass culture and by the critics,” Snyder said, a statement he immediately followed by saying, “Also, ‘It looks like a video game.’
I finished Sam and Max Save The World yesterday. It was fantastic. The musical numbers alone are worth the money. I walk around all day singing the words "They're probably hiding a cow".
I'm playing Wolf Team. Quite fun, 'tis a downloadable game from softnyx.

He was butt-raped by a large inmate, and he screamed. but the guards payed no attention to his cries. that's when things got out of control. I bought Battlefield 1943 yesterday. It's a lot of fun for only being fifteen dollars.
I've been waiting to find out if someone I know has this. I don't want to buy it and play with random Xbox dicks. I prefer the Xbox dicks I'm familiar with.
It can be pretty frustrating at times. Mostly because everyone else is better than me. Also, it seems to like spawning me two feet in front of enemy tanks. Like seven times in a row. Spawn, die. Spawn, die. Spawn, die.
On the other hand, I will occasionally find a really good sniping spot and just fuck people up for an entire match. It's also very satisfying to knock planes out of the sky with the anti-aircraft gun.
“Also, we don't need no Jacob to gay this place up. We have officially won the award for the forum with a highest proportion of gay members whilst not being themed about poojabbing, cowboys or Kylie.” - Nate
definitely wait a few months, I found it pretty boring and stale. it was crackdown x gta + a little bit of spiderman. i liked crackdown and gta to an extent, but I felt like I'd played this formula once too many times before
Completed the Mobile Suit Gallery for Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2. Now all I need to do is find all the parts =/

useless outside battle and sports anime.
But they're recklessly trying to make a slice-of-life anime about us.

It's by the same people who made Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, though, and I fucking LOVE that game.
Prototype is a very awesome game if you like the sandbox genre. You can do pretty much whatever you like, the city is your playground. I haven't finished the game yet but a few things I've noticed is that sometimes it's not entirely clear what to do. You just get a one line mission note and have to figure the rest out for yourself (which I don't mind, but I've gotten a little spoiled in finding out things on my own since every game in the last 10 years has been pointing out every single detail with big red arrows). Also there are a lot of sidetrack things to do like 'events' and a sort of territorial minigame that goes on during the game which you can sort of influence.
I actually got this game because I was at this game store where you can testplay any game you wish (this place is so awesome, every city in the world should have a store like this). So I played the first level for about 15 minutes and thought the game was good enough to give a try so I decided to buy it. Then the store clerk says that he'll check if he has it second hand (this store also has a very nifty system for buying and selling used games) which he had, so I only payed about half price for it as well.
