I think you should try reading Shadow over Innsmouth then, it was inspired by the works of Robert E. Howard, there's a chase scene in it that really feels like it was taken right out of a Conan the Barbarian story. Atleast try it.
Also I know there have been graphic novel adaptations of Lovecraft's works but I wouldn't recommend them, the whole fun of his stories are fear of the unknown.
Actually fuck reading it, somebody uploaded this, it's very concise I strongly recommend it.
Lovecraft's writing was always complete shit. Plus he was a vain racist weedy little nerd.
The Color Out Of Space is still his best.

If we were girls, we could get popular by doing anything:
rock band, jazz band,
karate, kendo, mahjong, cyborg, synchronized swimming...
On the other hand, high school boys are
useless outside battle and sports anime.
But they're recklessly trying to make a slice-of-life anime about us.
Ah, we are high school boys,

That was one of the first HPL stories I read, read it in Junior HS while I was in detention for showing up late to homeroom more than five times. The part about the obscure plants growing all over the farm has really stuck with me, it's cool how Lovecraft finds the morbid in everything.
Both of them in the mail today from a very awesome and sweet friend <3

I first found out about those things when I had already spent the last of this summer's money, and then a couple of weeks ago they sold out.
Luckily I have awesome friends who were feeling generous and thankful.

It's funny the testicle was a surprise and he said to not open the parcel with a knife because this parcel contained his ego and I asked him if he sent his penis. I was closer than I thought.
