Not repeatedly, no. I expected people to have more than a 10-post memory.

Nice to see you've got the whole "defending your partner even when they're clearly in the wrong" part of the relationship down solid, though.
Well! From experience no matter the place, no matter the community, there are always a handful if not all of people who will abuse the fuck out of the "I'll draw anything you tell me to" rule.

Also, I wasn't speaking solely in regards to Nep. I find it hilarious how me and him literally never bring up our relationship at respect for the rest of the forum especially after that god damn blog, but you and STM like to bring it up openly from time to time.

MM, not to be rude, but if you're abandoning this thread I'm going to commandeer it.

Sure, I expected that. But I also expected "them" (it's basically one person) to learn.

I'm not abandoning it. I never was. I'm just taking a break, and making a point. If you want your own thread, go make one.

OH YEAH BASICALLY ONE PERSON

On page 2, Splat made a complicated request for the background.
On page 4, I made that request for the hats and mittens that was a lot more complicated than it needed to be.
Also on page 4, J_dude made a complicated background request.
On page 8, Splat made another large background request, and also included the addition of small wings on one of the figures.

Nep has only made one complicated request this entire thread, and it was the last one that is still waiting to be done. All of his other requests are the following:

Milk dripping from square guy's nipple
Triangle guy having dragonfly wings
Triangle guy having a creepy grin
Triangle guy's grin showing teeth
Triangle guy holding the lollipop

Complicated requests happen in threads like these. Repeatedly. By both different people and the same handful. You can tell them to request something else, skip over the request entirely despite the rules, rewrite the rules to be more strict, or do it despite the rules. There's always the option of completely bullshitting the request and laughing at the requester's disappointment, WHICH I PERSONALLY LOVE DOING and highly recommend because it really discourages complex requests.

If the point you're trying to make is "complicated requests take way longer to do than simple ones", then you already 'proved' that point when Splat initially requested that complex background on the second page and it took you about half a year to complete it. You're reaching about a year on this one. It's fine if you're taking a break, obviously no one minds this, but we are still interested in seeing it continue. Don't turn it around and place all the blame for it taking forever on someone for making a complicated request, especially when you've done just as complicated requests previously in the thread.

Also, I see no point in making a copy cat thread. I'd much rather keep a thread going than start up a new one. :/

yadda yadda yadda

Doing something the first couple of times is not the same as doing something indefinitely. I'm not sure why you're getting so heated about this.

I highly encourage a copycat thread if you dislike the way this one is run, because that's not changing. We managed to get this far without any arguments, and I'd like that to continue.

Hilariously, I wasn't as heated as I probably came across. I was really hoping the emote would have at least kind of signified that along with the suggestion to just bs it, but eh.

It's not that I dislike how this one is run, it's the way I read your posts made me think you were going to drop the thread altogether. I don't want this to stop, so if it comes to that I'll take over.
