Just an image file that is zoomed in via the software. Like if you add a transition effect to a particular scene. I wasn't suggesting something high tech
Wow, looking awesome. I'm really glad with how the poster bits came out. Though on the Meech Munchies one you can just see me turning around and coming back into shot (sorry about that).
But it's looking great. The finished product is gonna be fantastic.
I'd say I like including some of the Minecraft sounds like the pistons and the dying pig; they're things I'd keep. They give it character, and since it can't be as moody, dark and serious as the original, the MC sounds work.
At least that's my opinion.
Yeah, I noticed that as well with you coming back toward me but I'll edit that out. I didn't see it in editing but it made me laugh when I saw it in the saved movie.
The thing about the MC sounds is that it's really hard to make them sync up with the soundtrack - Especially since they don't seem to sync exactly with the footage either, so it's hard to judge. Still, I'll play around when it comes to final editing.
@Alexfili and Carnix: I'll throw something together real quick when I stop being pre-occupied to show why what you suggest probably won't look good.

I already agree that it probably won't look good. I wasn't contesting that. I was contesting your suggestion that it wouldn't be possible which, seeing as you're about to "throw something together", appears false.
I'm not being offensive. I'm dodging the finger-pointing.
DH, just wondering if while recording you had the 'smooth look' (F8) turned on?
Because it looked a bit jerky at times. Other than that, superb! Have some more rep
What I meant was that it was impossible to do that scene in a way that I wanted, I wasn't accusing anyone of anything.
... Except that I clocked it over in my head for a bit. Then said:
And then:
And it was actually quite easy and I feel stupid for it not occurring to me sooner. Oh, except the lid isn't orientated the right way according to the previous shot... Eh I'll shoot it again later. Shame there's no way to "Stamp" this onto a barrel with the machine though.
But thanks for making me think about it more.
@Mudokon_Master: Yes it was. As I said before, I'll have to re-do the prison cell scenes. I sped up those scenes because I shot them too slowly - The smoothness goes away when I do that.
That was not what AlexFili had suggested. That was way cooler!
To have the piston stamp the logo onto the barrel; you could try recording the stamping scene (0:14-0:19) twice without moving the camera, once with the logo and once without, then splice them together at the point when all the pistons are active (0:17). I don't think this is necersary but, if you can do this, I'll have yet again disproven your claims of impossibility and you'll have completed yet another satisfying challenge.
Can't believe I never thought of using transparent images on top of the crate. Of course that would work (slaps self).
Okay, how about this for the logo:
Scene 1: Barrel stops moving, piston goes forward.
THEN, do a quick cut, do whatever it is you did to get the logo there (ie swapping texture packs)
Scene 2: Piston pulls back, the logo should now be there!
@Carnix and Alexfili - There's one major flaw with doing what you suggest: The logo is 4 different blocks - Since the scene is taken from the side, part of the logo would be visible on two of the side blocks because of the simplistic way that textures work in Minecraft (one 16x16 graphic which is tiled). As far as I know, there isn't a way to show the logo on only one side of blocks. Yes, I could shoot it from the front but I think it wouldn't look anywhere near as good as a side shot - especially since the barrel would obscure the view of the back pistons that "hold the barrel in place".
Yay, Minecraft limitations again. Also as Havoc said there's a lot of things moving about in the background - While it wouldn't be impossible to get the timing correct, it'd be very difficult.
But thanks for the suggestions anyway.
EDIT: Here's a screenshot to illustrate what I mean:

'You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to DarkHoodness again.'
Oh man that's grim! The pig sorta looks around all scared before it gets skish'd and then when the smoke comes out, that just makes the entire scene! +rep and much love man.

Oh yeah, fair point. Maybe he was just tortured until he lost consciousness.
I have faith that this project can weather a bit of tomfoolery. It's even looking likely that this'll see completion, a sadly rare occurrence here. Bravo, Hoodness. Bravo indeed.
Don't worry I intend fully to finish what I started. I don't pour this much effort into something simply to abandon it later - Unless many people lose interest. Currently it seems to be quite popular. Even if I don't end up finishing the planned adventure map, then at least the intro re-creation will be completed. But I have plans. Lots of plans. Oh yes.
But yeah, thanks for your continued support, guys - You make this worth doing!
EDIT: Oh yeah I will mention that this project has already survived a hacker attack and a near-loss of the world files. It's gonna take a mix of circumstances to kill it off.

Ah, I see that bus drivers license finally paid off eh Havoc?
Don't worry. There are plenty of movie makers who can finish this project, if worst comes to worst. Both me and crashpunk have experience with capturing video.
