I could be that, but Im pretty sure its one of the plasma rounds coming out of the Ghost, if you look at the ghost firing, it has those same blue lights coming out, but you never know...

That picture was actually a part of the e3 thing so I very much doubt its guilty spark.Especially on Earth. Especially in a high speed ghost chase. Probably just a lighting flare from something.

For the light to be that big, 343 would have to be relatively close. Even though the background is close, at that distance you wuold easily be able to se the outline of the rest of him. The light has the same color and glare effect, but is isn't 343.

The needler is a damn fun weapon. That's all I'll say.

Got my PC Gamer today, it's got a good article about the progression of Halo from a real time strategy game to a basic TPS (Yes T is correct) to the halo we know and love. Might scan in some pictures later

this looks like the human version of that covie siege cannon thing, mind you it was concept are for Halo 1. Still, it would be cool if it was in Halo 2.

Here's some of the scans I'm going to be posting, the quality is crap, but you can make out the pictures I'm sure.That is indeed Masterchief riding that dinosaur thing, in the boat and holding the plasma sword. The other sketch is a Sword and Shield Elite, well it would be if I could be bothered to reduce the file size to under 300kb, I might shrink the size another time if any of you ask.

-The ability to highjack a vehicle. You know when MC jumps on the ghost and throws the dude right off in the E3 preview? Awesome-ness right there.

-Being able to have your AI friends drive the warthog while you're in the machine gunner position.

-Moon battle.

-Multiplayer with multiple characters, Xbox Live compatibility and flying ships.

-Destroying covenant dropships! hehe

anyway, the moon battles will be cool. Also dont forget the new hogs, so well be in snow and jungle enviornments. Unless i'm right about the "Jungle hog" and it is acutally a special forces version.

This next Halo looks to have more variety than the previous. When I was playing Halo #1 I got deja vu all the time.

I think he's talking about the repeated level environments - you know, the control room showing up twice, the T+R showing up twice, the human main ship (forgot name) showing up twice...

i'm against the civillian cars too. By civillian hog i meant that yellow one seen in the E3 footage. You really have to see that man. I'm hoping we can pilot pelicans.

Piloting the pelican IS part of what they hope to add. Also, the ability to pick up and drop warthogs, tanks, and any other vehicles, then place them where you want.
