At last! I've been waiting for this and have been so excited about getting everything up and playable.

The village is wonderful, so you should all give some rep to Ajiellyn immediately. Then of course, there is the Glukkon office, so if you don't like giving out rep much, you know who really deserves it today

Again, I feel that you have done a great job on the village. The custom patches for it are amazing. They are just like the objects and features of the real Mudokon villages in Munches Oddysee. The huts, the tower, fences, custom river objects and flooring are great, and really make you believe that this is a Mudokon village from Oddworld, and not just a Furcadian village meant to be Oddworld.

(And I just noticed the wind blowing on the fence )

At the moment, my favourite part of the village has to be the river, it looks great and I get immense satisfaction from running around in it and getting my feet wet, but perhaps what I love even more than just running around in it, is drowning Meep

Your patches are brilliant, Aji. Having almost the whole dream custom patched at such quality really makes the dream stand out against other dreams on Furcadia, and you should be immensely proud of everything you have done for the dream.

Have a cookie!

Also, I am loving the Meep herding DS so much. So Thankyou Wil for doing it, and Aji for making Meep pens

I know it looks rubbish when not sat down on a chair, and probably isn't up to the standards required for the dream, but at the moment, the Glukkon just stands on the chair. I thought I should make something to make it look a bit more natrual. You can use it if you want, but it would probably be best if a propper one was drawn and patched by you for it

I can't wait to test out the new updates, from the mini previews Ive seen/experienced they look great. I just wish my own patches and DS would work...

Don't know if anyone else is experiencing such problems but I cannot access Furc with any of my accounts. For every single one it says "Whops, the username and password didnt match".

Sorry about that, my computer crashed while I was at school. It's back up now. =)

Don't worry about temporary downtimes. If I don't say anything here about it, it probably happened while I was away from home and won't last more than a few hours, so no worries. The first thing I do when I get home is check to make sure that Oddworld is uploaded, and if it isn't, I fix it. I do apologize for the inconvenience though.

Hulaabeo, please stop posting so many times in this thread. We've discussed dream downtime a million times and we know it happens and will alwyas get cleared up shortly. If its been several days, fine, but if its only been down a few hours you don't have to post here.
Also, we don't need constant updates about what you've been doing in the dream. Great if you're having fun but you don't need to keep telling us.

Wooooow, lots of downtime while I switched computers (permanent switch). I just finished recovering the dream files from my old HDD and things should now be just as reliable as you remember.

I have to admit that there will probably be a delay in any dream progress from me; I have a number of things I need to get done now that I have access to my files again. Spring break begins April 9th and I may get some work in then.

No talk of what everyone wants to see? Reiterate! Motivate me!

So far what's fresh on my mind are sounds...

Well (and you asked) It'd be nice if you looked into possession a bit.
You could also look into having different locations on different maps(I.E scrabania, paramonia, feeco(best place to get to industrial areas) moonsanic lines, RuptureFarms SoulstormBrewery.)

Just a thought!

Sorry, those two things are just not feasible at the moment... Furcadia's scripting is not advanced enough to function with possession, and we have limited map space so that means no new areas (at least, no new big ones.)

Sorry!

The dream will be back on Wednesday. Sorry for not keeping everyone updated, I didn't mean to make you worry. Embarrassingly enough, my laptop (which I purchased not two months ago) had crashed and I lost everything on it. I'm having to fall back on my old HDD for my files and it is again inaccessible to me. Starting Wednesday, the dream should be back and running '24/7' as it once wonderfully was.

The only 'news' that I can offer at the moment is Furcadia news and it is sort of bad for us:
Furcadia updated, and it was nothing that I was expecting. In the DS area of the update--the area that really matters to the dream--practically nothing useful was added. They created a 'cookie bank' and new commands for arrays. Nothing on variables that can support strings or any DS that could help the Possession script. I wish I had a metaphor to accurately express this, but it is outrageous that we're in 2009 and this program does not support string variables.

I guess we'll have to make do with what we've got, but I'm sour with Furcadia right now.

Well Furcadia hasn't been known for keeping with the times. It's only just now that they added some kind of friend private message browsing system anyway... At least it's free.

Is it just me, or has the file size doubled?

Will we need the new version to run the dream, or will I have to confront my dad. He'll probably say yes, but maybe not.Yes, I know it's only 15mb(and so dose he) and it is practically nothing, but he hasn't let me download things like this in the past.

Aye: at least it's free.

Furcadia's download size is now 15.9 MB, yes. Much of the space taken up is by the files for paid-for avatars which we won't even be using. I'm not sure whether or not it is safe to delete those files; I'll look into it.
