Sad Stuck in the War Room

i've made it to the War Room but i can't seem to get out. i can control the Big Guy and in turn, tell the gun-toting Zulig's what to do, but i can't get one down to the lower part to pull switches and/or open doors, so i end up being catapolted back into the War Room and die from the gas.

also, on a different saved game in the Exodus, i can't get out of the Boiler Room. everytime i open or go in a door, i get trapped and can't get out. i get to the end of the line and then i end up dying from the gas. HELP!

In the War Room, you have to get the Glukkon to fall down a certain pit, so he will land in a place with mines at the bottom. Keep call sligs to blow up the mines. When they are all gone, get one last slig to pull a lever and open a trap door for you. Hop down to the lower level and get the Glukkon to use the Security Phone. This completes what you have set out to do. Now just get Abe to sneak past the Greeters and in to the door. Remember, if the Glukkon dies, you fail. I suggest using Quicksave right before you posses him. I haven't played in a while, so someone might want to verify that this is true.

In the Boiler Room, all I can tell you is to not Quicksave unless you are absolutely sure you have enough time to get out.
