Costum avatars and attaching files

I've seen people with avatars that aren't in the list and I just found out that you can make costum avatars, I found a cool picture that would make a good avatar but I don't know how to put it on!!! Plus I wanted to post a pic of me on the what do you look like topic but I don't know how to do that either!!!! Is it me or am I just stupid! If you can help me that would be great.

Custom Avatars

1. Click on "User CP" in the upper-right-hand corner of this page.

2. Click "Edit Options".

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Change Avatar".

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and put a dot next to "Yes".

5. Either link to an avatar on another site or upload your own.

Attaching Files

1. Get to the "Reply to Topic" screen.

2. Find the section that says "Attach File".

3. Attatch file.

Could you be more specific? Danny was very clear with his explanation of custom avatars so I presume you want help with attaching files.

Attaching files:

Go to the desired topic and click reply.

Below the message input box and the tickbox options is a small input box with a button labelled 'Browse...' next to it.

Click 'Browse...' and find where the file is located on your PC. Highlight it and click OK.

Click 'Submit Reply' as you would normally.
