Kind of.

We’d worked with Oddworld for 4–5 years and really wanted a change, a chance to work on something different, and Oddworld wanted to move future development closer to “home” for them. It was a mutual decision.

All jokes aside though, I don't agree with the idea that JAW were the worst thing to happen to Oddworld. If anything, they were one of the more better things to have happened in recent years. I enjoyed the HD ports quite a lot. Most importantly though, JAW were the ones who brought this franchise back and without the success of New 'n' Tasty, idk if we'd even be getting Soulstorm.
