I know, but I doubt that principle will fully translate to New N Tasty, since the technology used this time around is completely different.
As I said, gameplay is more complex in Exoddus, there are much more complex situations, there are more mechanics involved that have to co-operate and at the same time, that have to work well in a realtime 3D environment. It will be a hard nut to crack, to bring all that to real time 3d, and still stay faithful to the original, as far as level of challenge is concerned.
I also hope that they listened to a lot of feedback concerning the art style and make the environments more dark and gritty and make Abe look less goofy and cartoony in the way he's animated. The whole place has to feel more intimidating. The workers there are SLAVES, they can't just casually complain about work and make sarcastic remarks while sligs are around. And I hope until then they figured out a way to implement shadow zones properly, since Exoddus has A LOT of them.
