Time to stand in my front garden semi-naked and do the yearly tradition of belting out Auld Lang Syne with the local estate boys.

I'm going to be spending the stroke of midnight on building's rooftop in 0°C weather watching fireworks with my ex. I sincerely hope we're not surrounded by couples kissing, because that could turn awkward.

I just spent mine annoying my cat and watching the fireworks on the TV. It's never really a big deal to me, the whole thing seems a bit arbitrary.

How was semi-awkward fireworks watching with your ex? :P

Had really fun last night, was at a friend's house with a few others and my friend's sister and her friends were there too so basically we just shot some rockets and played a ton of drinking games till early morning. Don't feel so good right now though...

Actually it was fine. There was no kissing going on around us so there was no awkwardness.

After the fireworks ended we started chatting with some people from my building who I'd met once or twice before. Then we went inside to the warmth and continued chatting. And next thing I noticed was that it was 2:30am. So that night went pretty well.

Spent the afternoon at my cousin's, drinking and generally catching up on whatever minute bullshit's going on in our lives. That was great. Was to commemorate the loss of my Nana (grandmother), which happened a few days ago. That wasn't so great, and I have to go to a funeral tomorrow. 2015 is off to a wonderful start.

On the bright side, I spent the eve of New Years smoking many marijuanas, playing many video games and watching several Bill Burr / Louis CK clips on YouTube with my best friend from high school. And of course catching up on more minute bullshit. That was great. We're also doing shrooms together tomorrow night. That should also be good. Hopefully there will be no terrifying post-funeral depression black hole trip for me. Hopefully.

I've got a good feeling about 2015. Maybe I'll make a blog post about it.

I went round to a friend's to drink lots and eat chinese food. We watched our friend get quite wasted, so I walked him home because it was late and there was so much ice everywhere. All in all an awesome evening.
