HEARTHSTOOOOONE

It's in open beta.

I've been in the closed beta for a while but I haven't been able to play because it hangs on a black screen when I try to run it. It crashes so soon that it can't even generate an error report, so tech support can't help me!

Anyone else having more luck? Good impressions? Bad impressions? Suggestions to fix my game?

I'll probably give it a go once it becomes available in my region as well. Who knows, this might become the next forum thing if there's enough interest.

Its an incredibly addictive game. I was in the closed beta for quite a while and its really well made.

There are some balancing issues, but then again, if you have a solid deck then you deserve to use its tricks and strategies.

I like how its super fast and easy to understand. And before anyone says it, a Murlock specific deck (while awesome and kinda strong) is not always the best option! lol.

My favourite card so far is a dragon that cuts your turn time and your opponents down to 15 seconds. Panic mode.

This looks okay, I do love card games so I might give it a play and see what it's like...though I dunno, something about it looks a bit gimmicky and simple.

Why can't you play it? I'm not entirely sure that it's been unlocked in all regions yet.

Game is awesome, reminds me a lot of MTG but I guess that's an obvious comparison. Love the design of it all, all the different callbacks to older Warcraft in the cards, the use of sound samples from WC3 (real nostalgic) and the gameplay itself is addictive and thought-provoking. I haven't delved into it past the initial 6 or 7 battles (the last one being with Illidan), but I'm stoked to get my first card pack or whatever.

My only issue is that the game can be a bit sluggish but I assume that's just a beta thing. Or maybe my old computer (which I'm surprised can even run it honestly, this thing is from 2007 and still runs freaking Vista

But overall yeah awesome game. I'm glad Blizzard can still craft a fun, strategic multilplayer experience. Now, where's Warcraft 4?

I'm assuming the thread's quiet because either everyone's playing HS (or because they can't run it for some reason and left).

Now, I never was big into trading card games (played a bit of M:TG ages ago), but HS is pretty great for me right now. It's easy to pick up (there is a subtly scripted tutorial part), it works pretty well, there's a lot of detail put into the cards and the inteface. It's perfect when I have 30 minutes of free time (a match lasts about 10-15 minutes).
