@filby46, if you're talking about Abe's Oddysee / Abe's Exoddus (which are PS One releases, not PS2), then yes, they will work on the PS3. PS2 games do not work on the PS3 however, unless you have one of the very original PS3 systems which have a built-in PS2 CPU.

No, there were never any PS2 Oddworld games.

Edit: Sniped again. Third time today.

I think you mean the PS1 games which can be played on the PS2...right?

Speaking of the PS3, I only have an Xbox 260 Elite and a PS2, anyone know where I can get one of the original PS3's for a cheap price?

Or, does anyone actually know if it's possible, if you have the right parts, to convert your PS2 to play PS3 games aswell? lol.

I doubt that's even remotely possible.

We're still pushing for a solution on the 360 front so perhaps they only thing you'll have to pay for is a copy of the game(s). Won't be particularly soon though.

I tried playing oddworld games from my ps1 to my ps3 and it worked. Then I tried ps2 games on the ps3 and it didn't work. Anyway my ps3 is on the bigger TV and when oddworld games are stretched it doesn't look very good!

Yeeah, but I'd rather have a PS3 where it's got better graphics and plus you get Oddworld first. It's been years since it came out so perhaps it's about time for me to get one or something? :P That's the way I see it.
