I have After Affects after the whole CS5 master collection landed itself on my hard drive, though I've never used it. What is with AE (possibly confusing acronym) and lightning; most AE videos have lightning in them, is it easy to implement?

I use Sony Vegas Pro. It gets the job done for me but that looks pretty good

I use Sony Vegas too but After Effects have...well Effects that are unique. I've been wanted to get it for ages.
