Given that SW-HD was originally announced for Easter 2011 and then delayed until December, shouldn't we call these Christmas Eggs?
I don't know if that deserved a sting button.

There's an Abe wanted poster on the ground where you get the boat.
Which boat, the Grubb row-boat or the Mongo river boat?

I remember when SW:HD was announced, with all that speculation that sparked up, one of the things I said would be a nice nod to the series would be the inclusion of a dusty Abe wanted poster..

I wonder how many more Easter eggs there are. Empty bottles of SoulStorm Brew are probably discarded somewhere.

Are you able to pick them up? Do they give you any benefit?
No unfortunately, they fly out and land all over the floor (with some nice physics too) I completed SW last night actually, and I've found 8 barrels so far. Considering I found my 'first' in Buzzardton and they were pretty evenly spaced after, I'm guessing there's two I missed at the very beginning. I'll be checking on my second playthrough!

By the way, turns out I was right about that other trophy!

The hidden medicine bottles are in the vents above the toilets, in the Wolvark facility. Above where you can hear an enemy in a cubicle... erm... having some trouble. I must have missed that Abe wanted poster, need to look for that too!

Are the design changes to Sekto's office at the end significant enough to notice?

I'm pretty sure that I've now found all 10 of the Mudokon Pops barrels! I missed some the first time round, so on my second playthrough I'll be able to get the trophy.

Had a look online and there doesn't seem to be a guide to finding them yet, so I'll get some photos and post one for anyone interested

Also, (I don't know if this is an Easter egg or not), returning to the first town after capturing Looten Duke but before seeing Doc, the 'coming soon- something new 'n' tasty' poster from AO is shown when you press the select button (where the surgery bid appears later). Was this in the original version?

I noticed the New 'n' tasty poster too. I thought I saw a scrab cakes poster aswell, at the end of a tunnel, but when I fell down the tunnel it sort of wasnt there, so maybe not..

When you say nothing was there, do you mean there was no poster there whatsoever?

That sounds awesome. I hope there'll be more easter eggs in future games.

Nothing at all. Stranger was trapped in the Twilight zone with nothing but a Chippunk for some pleasant company for all eternity.

Bought the game on Christmas Day, am thoroughly enjoying it. Accidentally knocked The Looten Duke into the fans and Knocked out a Grubb with a Thudslug. Fuck yeah :/

I think he means nothing was there when he tried it in the original game.

Ah, thanks Oanst. The only easter egg that I know of in the original game is the underpants at the beginning of Buzzarton (Which I've realised is covered by the new grass model).

I wish I could get involved with my conversations earlier.
Also, I didn't know there's a pair of underpants in Buzzarton! I guess I'll have to look for that today. :?

And the Wolvarks in the dunnies.

I don't remember seeing the underpants though. Anyone got a screenshot?

I wouldn't class the Wolvarks as an easter egg so much as a bit of comedy.

By that standard, how is the underwear an Easter Egg?

It fits the traditional concept of an easter egg in being something that one of the makers secretly slips into the game as a reference to themself. It doesn't stand out and most people won't notice it.

Whereas the Wolvarks on the toilet are a scripted event that every single player passes and hears.

I was always disappointed that the Wolvark in the stall didn't have his pants around his ankles when I kicked down the door.
