Help On "Splinterz Manufacturing"

ok so heres the deal, I got abe and much to the other side of the room. down on the floor are re generating sligs, and there killing me. the is a big robot thing i could get to drink this stuff that gives him a machine gun. regardless of what i do those damn sligs keep on comming back,how can i rescue 5 scrubs so this way i could move on.
if anyone has any clue please write back

If you're no good at dodging the gunfire, you have to just "keep shooting" and you'll eventually be rid of all the Sligs.
