How to register

I hope these help you out a bit.

From what I can figure out, you register with with Bitlocker.com then post on this board that you have registered and wish to join the RPG using the name: (insert name here). Then go to the "Detailed Help" page, linked above, for more information.

I think I joined but am not sure. Anyway If I find Abe Babe I will tell her.

It doesn't really tell you you've registered on the site. After registration it just takes you to a page where you can create a database (unnecessary) and you will receive an email from them shortly afterwards. Just post what name you would like to use for the RPG and Abe Babe or someone else will tell you the rest I suppose. Good luck I just joined too!

you have to tell abebabe what your username on bitlocker is, rich, so she can add you.

pacen, aren't you gonna add details and stuff to your database, like species?

next time someone sees abebabe, could you ask her to add a link to bitlocker on the site, please?

I've just emailed abebabe with my RPG stuff. Umm, judging from the look of the database, you can be any species you want, right? Under species, there are all sorts of things I've never heard of.

you can be any species provided it is an intelligent creature. Sentient in other words. Be warned though that one of the restrictions is that if you decide to play a character that is 'unusual', in other words a creature that is not a 'known' oddworld critter, you will not get the 1000 start up moola. In every case your stats will start at HP 1 AP 1. Thats all I can help you with, im still very new to this myself.

that's not strictly true. you can start with higher stats, if you have a good reason. [such as joining late]. and you can be a made up critter and still start with 1000m. you only lose that if you start with higher stats than 1,1.

the general ruloe is that, if you start at 1,1, you get 1000m.

but, basically, you can do anything if you can get the others to agree to it.

btw, pacen, is 'Pacen' going to be your character's name? because it's your character's name that you enter under 'Name', not your forums id. i just wondered if you knew.
