Oddworld on your Pocket PC

So Nate ask me to make a topic about it.
I'll do it with a big pleasure

Hope it will be useful for somebody.
So I want to show you one of the most impressive program ever developed. This discussion will focuses on the Playstation emulator.
Can you imagine you can play on your phone (Windows mobile phone of course) in Playstation games like Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, Tomb Raider and of course Oddworld AO and AE?
When I heard about this program first time I thought its a joke. "Old good Abe on my Pocket PC, No way!".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8WkIoCf0Ak

Its called FpseCE (First PlayStation Emulator for Windows CE) and have great amount of features like supporting multitouch, game control with G-sensor and SaveState possibility.

So if somebody interested in it check our board (I'm one of the project supporters and moderators) - http://fpsece.net/forum2/

Hope you'll like it :P

PSP runs emulators and roms. My friend has had AE and AO handheld for years now.
I'm assuming this thingy is free?

The idea is its portable , but I guess it depends on the size of your pockets

Yes that's it. The main idea is that you have a mobile phone:
Samsung i740 – 109 x 59 x 14 mm, 125 g
PSP - 169.4 x 18.6 x 71.4 mm, 189 g
Smaller even than PSP, as you can see. So you just pull it fro your pocket and started to play. And moreover it's still your phone - you can answer messages, calls etc.

And of course its free. But there are special version for donators which special features.

I wish I owned a pocket PC, or a PSP, or any portable console, or any good console for that matter...

I dont imagine a PS1 emulator would run on a S40 phone OS?

You mean Symbian? Unfortunately no, because FpseCE ported from PC version of PSX emulator - FPSE.

Have I just seen multiplayer? :d

Also, what are requirements for emulator? E.g. I have got GPS with about 500Mhz CPU (ARM) and big touch screen (WinCE 5.0) - propably won't work, right?

EDIT:
I looked into ReadMe file... might work

OK seems it should work on every WinMo devices. But nobody launched it on GPS navigators before, so I have absolutely no experience in it :P
