I'm shocked at this. It's tragic, and I find it retarded that the PRESIDENT and other important delegates were flying in a Tu-154 with such a low-quality pilot. They crashed supposedly in part because of the pilot's decision to take a stupid risk for no justified reason as they could've just landed in Moscow where weather conditions were better, and because the plane lacked proper instrument flight instruments. Poland has suffered a great loss today

The internet theorists will have a field day with this. It was probably predicted by the mayans and nostradamus. The russians shot it down, it was aliens, it was the large hadron collider, etc...

Still it's a strange coincidence that the president and high-ranking leaders are on the same plane, an od soviet shitter, and the pilots who were responsible for their lives decide that instead of landing safely at an alternate airport, they'll take their chances in thick fog, with no proper instruments for such a landing. Seriously, why?

Someone tell the Polish Prime Minister to get that shit out of his mouth, this may possibly be the worst thing to happen to Poland since the Iron Curtain fell, but it's certainly not the worst thing to happen to them since World War II.

My mum had Polish parents, and she often speaks in her native language with a Polish woman who lives up the road from us. Apparently Lech Kaczyński was a right-wing prick who opposed homosexauls amoung other things - Yet people are now turning him into a martyr.

There is some suspicion that he may of ordered the pilot to land in thick fog - Apparently he did that on a previous flight (click here and read paragraph 4), although the pilot wasn't very professional if he let Kaczyński's orders over-ride common sense and training (if that is what actually caused the plane to crash - It's still open to speculation). . .

Of course it doesn't make it less of a tradgedy though. But plane crashes are always tragic - Doesn't matter who's onboard. It's still weird how all these politically important people were all onboard a single aircraft. . . What's the saying? Don't put all of your eggs into one basket?
