What they probably can do without much effort is upgrade the xbox resolution which is usually locked at 640x480, and finally make the games widescreen. The rest is okay, Stranger still looks beautiful to my eyes and doesn't really need a graphic overhaul.

640x480 it is awful.
I hope in MO and SW, will be 1024x768 or 1280x1024.
I'm almost positive that SW will use the mouse for the shooting, but what about MO? The first two games didn't use the mouse, so why should MO? It doesn't have any fighting, not enough to speak of. What would they use a mouse for?
I hope they add controller compatability to MO on PC. I can't see any advantage using KB + M for it. Analogue movement is much more important in 3rd person platform type games than mouse movement is... SW could be interesting though.
Correct to the first part, but it's still completely different.
It is a modified version of Windows 2000. Emphasis on the modified.
I'd never call Xbox hardware completely different from a PC, thats one of the things MS likes bragging about. THe fact that its so much like a PC ports from the two platforms to each other are usually cheap and easy.
As I said before; PCs are more similar to the Xbox than to the PS2. Perhaps I should have used the phrase 'significantly different'. You can't just load the game in to Windows and run it immediately; it will take an expensive effort to port it.
Max: I don't know. I suppose if you're asking me what I prefer, then mouse control. As for what I think is likely, numpad (assuming character movement is ASDW).
That's debatable. Depends how much effort was taken to port Halo and Halo 2 to the PC? (or whether they were developed independantly) Look, relax. They will port it however they see fit. They won't release it if they can't port it.
Lorne is amazing but what is he doing every day?!?!?! Release it already! At least OWI is showing signs of life with releasing the games on the PSN and the oddbox.
He means that thirteen is an unlucky number. For example, when I was thirteen, I simultaneously fell out of an aeroplane, was hit by a torpedo and broke a piece from a Lego set I'd gotten from my birthday.
To this day I cannot build the set completely. I've been traumatised for life.
Maybe it seems so long because we all keep talking about it...or maybe that's actually speeding things up? I don't know. Just keep talking, somebody with something interesting.
