Actually, as it turns out with Steam Store, it's 5.09 euros, since they've pretty much set all their prices according to the $1 = 1 Euro standard for all European countries.

Bastards.

Still buying it though.

That's really cheap. I might buy it in case my PC discs ever get lost or something.
Edit: I bought it now, I'm glad that I can show my support for my favorite Video Games

Damn that's cheap. The foils of already having bought them. On the other hand, once MO and SW are released you can download the whole Oddworld Pack.

Sexy deal. Steam knows how to take my money far too easily; sometimes a game that I only have a passing interest in will go for 75% off and I'll have to buy it, even if there is a low chance of me playing it though.

I'll probably never play through Oddworld again (done it several times already) and still own the disks on PS1, I might well buy it anyway, just in case...

Do we know when MO and SW are going to be out, they're to ones I'm really interested in.

What? Are you talking about "The Odd Box" that's going to combine all 4 Oddworld games and is going to be available on steam?

I'm not sure we are allowed to talk in public about that...

I'm not even sure we are allowed to tell they are planning to have it done for the end of this year...

I'm going to find out if I can tell this to you guys

Well I was talking about the general concept of them being available to purchase and download as one big "pack", yeah. I wouldn't tell anyone else all that other stuff, though. Seriously.

Odd Box?? Why didn't nobody mention this earlier? I already pre-ordered Brutal Fortress of Team Klotz and Left 4 A.L.I.V.E. so I don't have enough cash to cough up for The Box. F#%&@ typical of OWI to milk their franchises like this. Who do they think they are? Activision? I say we boycott now. Lorne Kotick can suck my abs.

Oddworld Inhabitants are simply the best. Better than all the rest.

I'm still half expecting to for OWI to announce their closure and quietly and shut down overnight.

I hope not. I mean FRD (Free Radical Design) is gone and so is ES (Ensemble Studios) OWI Is my last favourite game maker still alive.

So do Oddworld Inhabitants actually still get a share from this? of is it like a one pay contract with Valve?

I expect OWI gets money from it, but it's primarily to get more people exposed to Oddworld.

Free Radical Design still exists in a form. In fact, apart from the name change, it exists much more than Oddworld Inhabitants does.

The company went into administration and was bought by German developer Crytek. It is now called Crytek UK and employs just 40-ish of its previously 100-and-something members of staff. But I think (and hope) they're still working on TS4.

nah it was just a really bad joke in response to an equally bad joke made by Xavier (seriously how could you even write something like that? at first I was so happy but then... I was so sad!) but I can see how it was taken out of context, excuse my inability to quote correctly.

I already bought both these games so many times over and over now, can't they just put up a paypal button I can subscribe monthly to? I don't mind if there's a risk we might never see OWI return. I still believe in Lanning and co. I mean, sure as hell beats paying for yet another mindless modern shooting game...

I just bought the pack. I'm not planning on downloading them, because I still have them on disk, but it's good to have a cheap second option available.

No, Max is not saying that.
He's saying they will make a 4-pack deal in the future with even more savings.

Actually The Odd Box is not a joke, we got the info straight from OWI a couple of days ago. The reason why I told you guys now is to avoid that you would buy this pack and then feel cheated when The Odd Box comes out. They said they were aiming for an Xmas release, but remember not to blame the messenger if they aren't on schedule.

On the other hand there is no reason why they wouldn't also do a MO and SW bundle for the fans who already own the Abe games via Steam or GOG.

meh, I was just trying to help
