ok ill start some proper stories now I think PS ive bee nill recently so I havent bee nable to go on.
- Short story one: Hexaret Vyk
V'ykn peered through the leaves at the stranger, unlike him, the stranger was clad in iron armour and he had a large metal pole that smoked a black fume.
The forest was the perfect covering for an ambush and the native Hexarets were prepared for a fight, there Temple, N'yon Y'ni was the third oldest and largest of the known temples, it was magnificently huge and, while the vines draped over it and the birds had covered it in faeces, the Hexarets maintained it, everyday the ritual fire was lit in the statues hands while the priests chanted there archane prayers. Scattered about the clearing were a number of camoflauged watch towers constructed from wood and wax.
V'ykn picked up his splint crossbow and loaded in the ammunition, the bow had a 5 shot clip and could be fired semi-automatically.
The stranger trapsed about and then signalled a hand sign, five other armoured hexarets returned, they all carried the same metal poles (the poles were, if you havent already guessed, splint shocker guns.) they spoke to each other and then they called in a huge metal ball, it had two splint shockers sticking out of the side and had a huge spinning blade in the middle, the hexaret inside flipped a switch and the ball burst into life, massive bellows of intoxicating gas spurted from the rear of the ball as it slowly moved forward, V'ykn screamed as it smashed int oa cluster of Y'n trees and chopped the minto bits. "There smashing the G'ryk (G'ryk being forest) down, to arms E'ts (E'ts being Hexarets) The Hexarets revealed there amazing stealth skills, they ran about the bows of the trees positioning themselves around the ball. V'ykn looked down the scope of his bow and squeezed its trigger, the shot was silent and it went straight through the armour of one of the industrial guards. The other four looked shocked for a second until suddenly they opened random fire at there surroundings sending splinters everywhere, while this was going on two of them clambered into the ball and sat themselves on the turrets. Then a huge rain of fire opened up one of the native hexarets, it hid behind a branch but the shots went straight through, the E't screamed as his skin was flayed from his bone, he fell down the tree and landed with a crack and a splurt, green blood seeped from his wounds he groaned and one of the industrialists stepped on his chest and fired a round, the guts flew into its face aand it laughed.
The battle was fierce and each inch was fought for fiercly, the bolts bounced of the ball gently "retreat" Vyk'n shouted, the few survivors jumped down from the trees and sprinted off down the clearing, dodging through the fire of bullets that threatened them with death. The priests where called in with there mystical knowledge, they carried with them M'yngauor balls; small explosives for clearing thick partsof the forest. First, the priests caught the ball in a Schykgor trap ( A schykgor was a cross between an elephant, a hippo and an alligator) The ball being imobilised the bombs were dropped and the armour broke, smoke billowed from the trap and the industrialists clambered out of the hole coughing, "NO MERCY"! cried Vyk'n and the survivors shot the industiralists back into the hole, for a few minutes vicious screams erupted from the hole but soon the screams turned to death rattles and it was over.
One battle was won but hundreds were being lost everyday, the Hexarets are loosing hundreds of acres a day in a never ending battle for there beautiful temples.
