Happy FMV help on Abes Exodus PC

Hi,
Not sure if this has been questionned before but this is really driving me nuts!

I had Oddworld on the PSone many years ago and recently decided to purchase Oddworld Abe's Oddesy and Abe's Exodus for my PC. The game runs fine (resolutions a bit blocky though) but the PC refuses to play any of the FMV which is one of my favourite parts of these games.

My PC has Windows media player latest,Vista premium and a Nvidia Geforce 6100 built in so it is more than capable of running this.

Do I need to download a video codec of some sort or is these something else I can do?

Help mucho appreciated as these are classic games and im new to this PC gaming thing.

Cheers

He can also watch them on the PS version, if he wants to. That's not the point

That's quite odd. Are you sure they're original? You may have been slipped a pirated version because they tend to not have the FMVs.

Quite possibly which makes selling it on difficult. Funny thing is I when explore the files on the disc there doesn't seem to be any files large enough to be movie files. Strange....

Haven't tried oddessy yet as its not opened. I've decided to sell them and get the PSone originals instead and play them via PS3.

looking forward to it as their great games!!!

We have heard that AO and AE are meant to be going on Steam some time soon. We just don't know when.

Try to download codecs.
Or try to install older drivers of nVidia, these new drivers only gave me trouble with Final Fantasy VII. But with AO or AE no.

And I'm waiting for Abe's Oddysee to appear on Playstation Store, to play on my PSP

What? Your profile says you've played AO.

Wrong, that's favorite game. Not the games that I played.
Duh.
