NEED HELP ON BARRACKS!!!

i dont know if anyone has said this already but there is a part in the sligs barracks in the rifle range were there is a granade dispenscer but the granade lands on the edge of the ground and since you press down to pick up the granade and down to hang from the edge when i try to pick up the granade abe just hangs from the edge instead. i realy need the granade to save some mudokons.so if you can help please do.

Well you can press the ctrl key when you are next the grenade whilst crouched to pick it up.

I get this problem alot. I know what to do. When your running then you can go into a roll right? Then all you have to do is press the button.

that doesnt work. the problem is that the granade i need to pick up is at the edge of the platform and when i try to pick it up abe just climbs down instead of picking up the granade.

Maybe i didn't say it clearly. When you are running right? Then you can press and hold down a button to roll. Just press that particular button when you are standing over the grenade. On the computer it's X.

There should be a "pick up" button when you are crouched over a grenade. Try crouching on it and pressing circle or square like Chubfish said.

This also happens with a meat sack and a bone sack IIRC. The problem is that they never tell you there's a specific "pick up" button.

Well all you do is crouch next to it, not on it otherwise you lower down the ledge. Hit circle or square and you are done, you picked up a grenade on a ledge without lowering yourself down it. I can't help anymore than that really.
