Oddworld Photobucket and Firefox
... this may not be the right forum, but I figured since people use Photobucket for their sigs, then here is the place to post it.

Since a few days ago, images from Photobucket don't show up through Firefox anymore. Yet they do in Internet Explorer. I wondered if it's just me or if other Firefox users are experiencing the same thing.

That's weird. I can still see my photobucket album through Firefox. I have no idea what would cause that.

Firefox has an option to disable some images. Mabey that got screwed up somehow?

All other images are fine, and even image from other free hosts such as Imageshack. Yet the site itself loads.

I guess it's just me then. I don't recall messing with a setting, but I'll take a look.

No, the same thing happens to me. Not too mention it happens with various other servers, both commercial or not. The only way I can see images in the 'What do you look like' thread is by opening Internet Explorer, else, they are all hidden.

It might have something to do with upgrading to FireFox 1.0.1, but I'm sure it's been happening for far before I upgraded.

However, photobucket just hosts images online; it doesn't allow you to make images. You are thinking of Photoshop, which is software that you can buy, but is very expensive. Try paintshop pro, I think that is free.

Well it fixed itself after my computer rebooted. It must be a Firefox bug. Because it also happened with my other site earlier today.

I guess I just assumed that it was Photobucket because it had never happened with any other sites before then.

Hmm.. try making an account on Photobucket, and upload the banner there... I don't what is wrong, but try at least.

This is how I see aquacid's sig using internet explorer.








There are some more sigs with wich I have this problem, , but that's probably photobucket or the server they used.... Who else has this problem?
