Now what would be fun is being invincible in AE and doing a speed run.
Run straight through any mines...sorry, Mudokons! *BOOM*
A speed run without saving or killing would be pointless. We'd just watch Abe running back and forth. Killing Mudokon's is fun, do that!...please?

Added: Ironically, in my opinion, three of the four hardest are very close together - the two paramite-free levels of Paramonian Temple, and the secret in Paramonian Temple. (The other of the four, also the hardest of all, would be the secret on the first screen of Scrabanian Temple. Is it just me, or are those alternating slogs much harder than the near end of game ones?!)

The hardest are the secrets in Scrabanian Temple, at the start, the one with the bomb, and the one in SE that has Sligs on both levels.

Also, there is a thread called "Perfect AO/AE" which asks for people who have finished 100% without dying. I assume, with two level you mean the swinging rocks. They aren't hard if you know how.

I find the best way to get past them is to roll over the gaps instead of jumping. Then pull up and quickly roll to the next as soon as you get a chance. Still, this method is far from failproof, as they can hit you when you're standing next to them too(I haven't been hit crouching yet, but I generally try to move as quickly as possible).

The rocks can't hit you when you are standing next to them. The bats, however, can.

The level with five screens all in a row, they can't there. However, try standing next to them in the other level.

Yes they can, they circle. In that one there is one bat. In the other there are 2. In both, if you stand up for ages, they will get you.

I was referring to the rocks. I am certian I've been hit by a rock while standing next to it...

Actually, can't you do that Scrabanian Temple one at the start by standing on the far right of the screen and shooting? The slogs come out running to the left, so they'd have to turn around to get you...
As for the Stockyard Escape one, it's not that hard. It just requires you to place your jumps right.
I don't personally have any trouble with the bomb one(except always forgetting it exists), but I can easily see why others would.

And crouching(as in, being caught while changing between crouching and standing), landing(even from the opposite direction) or trying to throw next to them virtually always results in being hit.

Yes, I know landing etc will kill you, but just standing there won't unless the bat gets you.

It is not possible to kill bats. There is one part of the return through the Stockyards where it’s possible to get bats to follow a rock you throw, clearing them from the area, but that won’t be necessary in the speedrun.

I’m downloading now, and looking forward to watching!

p.s. The file won’t play properly. The image is in pastal blues and yellows only, and it isn’t animated smoothly.
