I have been playing this game way too much lately. One and simply the best games i've ever played. It's also a great stress reliever.

I guess he meant that the buildings look a lot larger than in the previous games... By obvious means, of course.

I've played all the GTA games up to San Andreas, the first one was great. Simple, yet enjoyable. The second wasn't that good, I think. Some new weapons (the shocker was fun, though), vehicles, gangs and the good old Insane Stunt Bonus, which is a lot more fun in GTA3 and newer...
Vice City was great in its time. The graphics improved a lot (GTA3 was using 256 colours, I think), and so did the gameplay.

Ive played all of them liberty city stories is pretty crap you cant do anything else than the missions, vice city was my favourite when it came out.

I don't know I never liked GTA, I just couldn't wait to play it when it came out because everybody was sooo into it

I only liked the first one. It was innovative, and fun to play. And the Guaranga! killing spree was always fun. The second was okay too, but I didn't give much for the other GTAs.

The problem with the first one was that each level took a few hours to pass, and you couldn't save in the middle of it. That and the fact that you couldn't replay missions meant it was un-necessarily hard, which I don't like.
This is why I liked the second more than the first.

GTA3 is my favourite so far though. It has the best city layout, although it doesn't have a cooler features as the latter games. I haven't played Liberty Stories yet but I am looking forward to doing so.

Yes It has cool features, you can get a hokey mask and a chainsaw and do chainsaw massacre missions.

I never really played the original 2D top-down versions of GTA - Instead I started with GTA III, which was pretty awesome for it's time, but not as good as the last three 3D GTAs.

Though San Andreas was pretty awesome and the best from a Gameplay perspective, Vice City probably is my favourite, but maybe thats because of the story and the atmosphere.
