Oddchat

Sorry, I know this isn't about this specific Forum, but it is about Oddchat. If it need to be moved, feel free. I just had no idea where it should go. Abe Babe, maybe you can answer this for me? Why is it that Oddchat is no longer working? Everything looks fine, except the fact that there is a big red X in the middle of the screen. I remember Old And Not So Tasty telling everyone that (This was about a month ago) Oddchat still worked, but it won't for me. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what browser are you using? Anything that I'm not doing right, or any tips? Thanks!

We need to hook up a new IRC server for it to work. Rest assured it is something I have on my todo list, but it'll take a litte longer than hooking up a new IRC server, as I was planning on revamping it to bring it into OddNet.

I'm not sure. It's a simple task in itself, it's more setting up OddNet that'll take time.

I'll be sure to make an announcement, and post here as well as GD when it gets up and underway though. I'm sure everyone will notice it

Good news that OddChat will eventually be working. I was never around when it worked but I hope to be able to use it. It doesn't work for me, whether I use Inernet Explorer or BT Yahoo. Still, I'm happy to wait for it to be up and running again. But, what is OddNet? The database for OddChat?

OddNet is just the name we've created to encompass the Oddworld Forums, OddChat, Oddworld-Web, and Oddworld Universe.

Not working for me earlier. I probably don't have the correct edition of Java for it. I'll need to update.

Peter's a busy man, give him a chance to fix it. It takes alot of time and effort to do this sort of thing.

Anyway, Oddchat has been dead for the best part of 4 years.
