Heehee, I would like to a mudokon. Not only get screwed about within the industrial world. You can pray all day and have powers 'scary powers.' Probably on the way might get catch a glimpse of Abe. Another thing being a mudokon can benefit the best of both worlds. Industrial and native.

I picked Vykker. Having extra arms would probably make doing things a lot easier, and they're the only race I can think of trying to forward the knowledge of science, even if they're going the wrong ways about it...

I'd be aMudokon, with the ability to possess things and almost 'change form' but otherwise, I'd be a Scrab. Natural brute strength and being worshipped by Mudokons. Not a bad life style.
