Elum transporter

I watched at the new personal photos some days ago. And I saw some picts from something called "the dark cristal" What´s that.
There was also a pict wich is called elum transporter. this is this:


I´ve never seen a elum transporter in the game. So what´s that and where did you get it from?

The elum thingy was used to stop elum from moving, but this idea was taken by the bees because it was more natural and fun.

Dark Crystal is a mad movie, really old with these weird puppets. A bit like the labyrinth but doesn't have david boweee juggling glass balls and singing songs about babies! Ahem it is an old movie about another world that is put together by a crystal. That crystal has been stoen by these evil bird like creatures. (the pic) and when they claim the throne they do this game called. The sword and the stone, where they whack huge swords into the stone to see who can break it first. And a shard of that crystal is somewhere in that planet and the last of the species has to find it. He was brought up by these dudes that make these sweeet sounds an.........hey im not gonna tell you the whole friggen story 'ight

hmm a little off there Oddbodd. 'Dark Crystal' is a classic movie about the fight between good and evil. Basically, the gods? had an ego trip one day and ended up breaking the crystal that held the world together. As a result the gods? were split into seperate beings, the Skeksis' (bad guys) and the Mystics(good guys). Now it is Jen the last Gelfing(dont think i spelled it right), to find the missing piece of the crystal and to put it back together before the planets 3 suns line up and give the Skeksis absolute rule over the world...
That's all im saying. Its my fav movie

The best part was when those wierd black guards came out trying to kill the looser in that sword competition. they looked mad!!

Although there has been no official indication about the Elum Teleporters/Forcefields, it seems to be that they were something that was to be included in Abe's Oddysee and then was changed to the honey.

I have a promotional CD of Abe's Oddysee which is actually the demo. And while the demo itself does not contain Scrabania, the back cover has a picture of the teleporter.



I think that these screens were perhaps used as promotional images for the press and possibly as part of an industry demo.

Yeah i had a demo of AE, way before it came out. And i was playing and some little things have changed. Extra uxb's, less orbs, no green gas when farting. MUDOKONS DIE WHEN YOU FART ALOT!!! I think this elum thingy is an early idea, put into a demo then changed.
