im stuck in the secret room that you get in the first slig pen i can get the 2 modonkins across but the scrab kills me as i jump into the portal help

Anywayz, Scrab Cakes, what game are you talking about (I think you're referring to AE, cuz yer talking about Slig Pens), and could you be a bit more precise?

I think he means the secret scrab area at the Rupture Farms stockyards.
After you resqued the muds, run back, chant and then wait till the scrab walks of screen. Wait a few more sec then jump down and make a run for the portal. You just need a bunch of speed and luck.

If there are no anti-chant devices, you can try chanting to get the scrab to scream while you're on his level. It's really risky since you have to stand still, and there's a delay before he reacts.

If you time it right, It's gain you about half a second extra to run

Nah ah, won't work, trust me. I tried the area is to small - the scrab doesnt have reaction time.

New plan!
THe first thing you do when you enter the secret area: Chant to open your escape portal! It will stay open until you need it. Then greet one mudokon, tell him to follow you, and continue from here. Then, when you've freed both mudokons, you can just run and jump through the portal! But don't jump too soon, or else you'll climb up the ledge and waste time.

Yes. If the birds stay open when you finish chanting, they will stay open until you jump through them.
Pretty handy, eh?
